Alastor laughed softly “unless you don't wanna walk tomorrow, don't call me sir” he remarked
Alastor laughed softly “unless you don't wanna walk tomorrow, don't call me sir” he remarked
Maximus gave him the middle finger quickly and then smiled.
"You have to find out where I live," he replied with a smile "no one's ever seen where I live."
“Doesn't mean I can't get you in the bathroom, not many people know how to pick the lock to the main door”
(south v has that bullshat for this reason lol)
Alastor chuckled softly and put Maximus’s finger down, wrapping his hand around the boy's fist “never held hands with a date like this before “ he teased
Maximus pulled his hand away and put his hand in his lap.
"I mean I have to give you my address first." He pointed out. "So watch yourself."
Alastor chuckled “3029 south manway.” he whispered to the other boy. “Apartment two.”
Alastor smiled as he looked at the other's sketch. “ it looks really nice yah know”
Maximus' smile faltered and then disappeared very quickly.
"That's my grandma's house you weirdo." He started, scrunching his brows slightly. "Are you stalking me?"
“No, it's my exchange house? I'm was taken in by another person so I could get an education out of state..” he said and tilted his head “how lucky is that..”
Maximus raised his eyebrows and pulled out his phone and texted his grandmother.
"Okay, so…plot twist" he said as he read the message she sent back a few moments later. "Turns out my grandma's your exchange lady I guess."
Alastor laughed softly “couldn't have planned that any better.” he said rhetorically as if it had been planned
“Looks like I met your family a little earlier than most dates.” he joked
"Only my gramma." Maximus pointed out quickly. "You aren't going to meet my family because i'm just going to tell them you're a friend."
“Oh, okay, so how you gonna explain when I show up on Friday to take you to homecoming ?” he asked, tilting his head. Alastor didn't really understand his decision but he was just happy to have the other going with him.
Maximus shrugged.
"I'll just tell them you're a friend, which you are." He pointed out "and that you're giving me a ride."
“Sounds like a great idea,” he said and started sketching again. “ so anything you like to do? Other than a draw?”
"I like to bully my little brother, Connor." He said jokingly. "It always makes my day better."
He added the last of the shadows and put the lid on the oil pastels and got up to wash his hands, also putting the box of oils up and then sitting back down.
“Oh, so you have more siblings?” Alastor asked, smirking slightly “same age or younger?” he asked.
"I only have Connor," Maximus told Alastor with a small smile. "He's younger, he'll be ten in less than a month."
“Oh, well tell him I said happy birthday, “ he said happily and looked around.
“ I really need to learn people's names “
Maximus nodded.
"I still don't know their names and I've been in here since the beginning of the year." He admitted.
"But it's fine I guess."
“Yeah, I'm just glad I know yours,” he said softly and laid his head down, watching Maximus to see if he had anything to do
Maximus gave him a small smile and then pulled out his phone, waiting for the class to be over, since it was likely Ms. Romano would be starting the next project during tomorrow's class period.
“So, anything you wanna do after school?” Alastor asked softly. “ I'm down for anything, so long as you are. And it'd be nice to get to know each other”
Maximus smiled one sidedly.
"You can walk home with me after school," he told Alastor and sighed "meet my parents, see my room, you know, all the basic first time coming over stuff."
“ sure,” he said and yawned “ maybe we can take a damn nap, being on a plane all night sucks “ he said
"You were on a plane all night?" Maximus asked. "That must've sucked."
He began to sketch small doodles on a new page in his sketchbook.
“Yeah, jet lag and everything else. I had a kid kicking my seat the whole damn time.” he chuckled “ I swear he never slept “
