Yeon grinned when he noticed Argo’s mood seem to improve. But he just now remembered a terrible detail. He knew how to sign, yes, but in Spanish. He cursed mentally, running the signs that Argo gave through his brain. It took him a minute, with translating and all, but he nodded in understanding. “Thank you. Argo is pretty hot as well,” He said with a chuckle.
(hhh gotta go die via finals now)
Argo turned a little red, and he took another sip of his coffee. "Thank you," his radio played, sounding vaguely sheepish. "That's very nice of you to say."
Sean sighs as he walks out of the bakery.
(RIP and lmao did you mean to say Vaughn)
“Anytime, precioso“ Yeon said with a playful wink, his tongue rolling the ‘r’ when saying the word. He propped his chin up against his palm as he studied Argo. “It probably would have been a good to mention that I know sign better when it’s Spanish,” he said, chuckling.
(lol wait how do I throw Icarus into here somehow lol)
(ok I fixed it sorry I didn't sleep all night thanks to my sister)
Argo went a little more red at the 'precioso.' "I speak many languages. English just tends to be the one I'm better with," he said quickly
(You need sleep bud)
“Oh? You know Spanish, then?” Yeon asked. Now he was excited. It wasn’t too often that he met people who knew Spanish well enough to hold up a decent conversation.
(hah a it wasn't my fault this time I swear. just insomnia and my little sister being a jerk and keeping the light on)
Argo nodded, fiddling with his bowtie again. "In my line of work you have to know many languages. I can speak everything from Cantonese to Russian to things not heard of around here," he said, smiling a little at Yeon's reaction
(Ooooof)
“And what exactly is your line of work, precioso?” Yeon asked, a brow arching as he did so. His eyes flicked down to the bow tie when he noticed the movement. A bow tie? Well, that really was precious.
(shit now I ship Yeon and Argo, I have too many ships to handle)
Argo's face went a little red again, and he had to mentally remind himself not to break from the nickname. "I'm the manager of a rather expensive hotel. I'm not entirely sure if you would recognize the name, but it's called the Basilisk."
(Ahahaha yes)
Yeon’s brows raised in surprise. “Manager, huh? I’m impressed,” he commented. Of course he hadn’t heard of it. He was poor as hell. The nicest thing he could afford was some trashy apartment in a terrible part of town.
Argo rubbed at his face a little, trying to will some of the redness away. "It's not much, really. I only work there because I walked straight into a mess of fine print contracts, but that's another story," he said, finishing his coffee. He debated getting more before deciding on a glass of spiced rum
Yeon hummed, nodding slowly. “Hey, at least you know you’ve got a big chunk of money,” he said, trying to be optimistic about it. He picked up his glass, taking a slow drink.
(sure you can join)
Argo shook his head. "Not really. I don't actually own most of my things. Hell, I usually don't even bother stepping off the hotel grounds. Not that I tend to have a reason, but that's beside the point," he said, taking a sip of his rum
Sean walks out and sits on a bench outside the bakery/bar
Yeon gave another nod. “Think you could get me a job?” He joked, laughing a bit as he did so. Anything would be better than his current situation.
Sparrow walks around the corner and makes a beeline for the bakery
Argo chuckled, shrugging a little. "Well it's up to the boss, but since I'm the manager I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you really wanted one. The kitchen always needs runners, and I know it would be a relief if we had at least five other people to work in the lobby."
James exits the bakery, noticing the male, (Sean) "Mind if I sit here?" He asks. Inside, Oliver was scolding Alfred for getting batter everywhere, sighing and rubbing his eyes tiredly. Oliver sighs, quickly cleaning up the mess, Alfred apologizing over and over again. The eldest (Oliver) Could only smile and wave his brother off, saying it was ok.
(So he is?)
Sean looks up at the guy sand shrugs, bending at his waist and leaning his chin on his hand
(I guess? If it's okay? I mean, he is gonna a be around a lot since he hovers around his brother)
Argo chuckled, shrugging a little. "Well it's up to the boss, but since I'm the manager I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you really wanted one. The kitchen always needs runners, and I know it would be a relief if we had at least five other people to work in the lobby."
(Ahhh I’m back)
Yeon hummed, giving a flashy grin. “Either sounds great. I could really use a job right now,” he said, trailing off towards the end. Besides teaching kids Spanish, he did occasionally do other things that had to do with traveling. It was his job to transport drugs to the coast of Florida, where they would be taken into Cuba, and vice versa.
(@_ octane _ is it ok if James is part of the Rp?)
