(oooooh another sniper, shanzzy)
The song stopped. Miles blinked a few times to shake the bleakness from his eyes. He checked the time and nearly jumped out of his seat. Two minutes till the meeting! The sniper haphazardly wrapped his earbuds around his phone, stuffed it in his cargo pocket, snatched up his rifle case, and hurriedly tried to find the meeting room. He passed by what looked like a training room with dozens of targets and made a mental note to visit it later if he had the chance. Miles scurried by several other rooms before finding one that had a couple of very out of place girls chatting right out side it. He slowed his pace and approached the two with practiced manner, "Excuse me, but is this the meeting place for the 9:30?"
"I assume so," Jayde answered, looking to her watch.
"Yeah. This is the room." Crys answered looking at the person. "Who are you?"
"I'm Miles," he said to the shorter of the two, the one with brilliantly grey eyes. The other one, lean, athletic, and almost his height elected to ignore him. "And you are?"
"Jayde." She answered. Looking up to the guy and sticking out her hand.
(I didn't mean for her to be ignoring him, she was actually checking the time.)
"I'm Crys." She said then saw the doors opening up and looked to them. "Looks like the meeting is starting."
Jayde walked in and took the seat far from where the head would be sitting.
Crys walked to sit on a beanbag in the corner of the room.
(doesn't know how to hop in)
(they are just starting the meeting so just walk in and take a seat.)
As much as Miles wanted to just plop down and take a rest on the beanbags in the suspiciously comfortable looking room, he knew that first impressions were e v e r y t h i ng. He restrained from acting like a child (though the girl did seem comfortable…) and sat across from the Jayde with his rifle case slung over the back of the chair. A few seconds later a fourth person came scrambling in, but Miles was too focused on the idea of the meeting to notice them. He ran his hands through his hair and turned to the head of the table.
Crys pulled at her phone and scrolled through stuff as she waited for more to come and the meeting to finally start.
(who are we waiting for?)
(nobody but particularly. Just waiting to start the meeting.)
(t h e y a l w a y s s a y e e h a w b u t t h e y n e v e r a s k h a w y e e)
(Are you going to start it?)
Soon enough the boss walked in and sat at the head of the table and looked at everyone "Morning. Shall we start?"
Jayde looked up from her laptop and nodded towards the boss.
Miles gave The Boss an attentive nod. He ceased fidgeting with his ring.
"Alright time for reports. Who would like to start." He said opening a notebook.
