"Green, please," Quince said
"Green, please," Quince said
"Ok." Harper says while setting the board up, "Spin, so we can see who goes first."
He spun, "4."
She takes the same action as Quince, "5". She sighs, "I don't know what to pick, college or career." Harper stresses. she picks the college path and spins a two. she moves her car two and does nothing. "Is no a good time to explain?"
"Yeah go ahead, "Quince chose career and the police man job was what he picked, he rolled a 3 and landed on blank space
"So, back at my old school, like back in 6th grade I think, there was a boy, named Quince. He spoke to me a lot." She explains while spinning a 5. She moves five and graduates, picking up a career card she got a surgeon. "We started to hang out a lot and we ended up being best friends. After a year I started to get feelings for him and he just left one day, without saying goodbye. It hurt a lot but i dealt with it. and when I met you, it sparked that same old feeling."
Quince looked up with surprise, "What school?"
"I think it was Rockwood Prep." Harper thinks with her focus on the ceiling.
"I went there…"
"Serious? Like dead serious?" Harper asks looking Quince in the eyes
(Bump?)
(sorry I had to go to bed)
"Yes, I'm dead serious, Harper."
"Well shit." Harper sighs
Harper leans back and lays on the floor, "What now Q?"
“Hmm, I don’t know…”
"We can't just act like nothing happened Quince, we gotta figure this out." Harper sighs
