"Mmhhh, I'm very sure about that," She said sarcastically.
"Mmhhh, I'm very sure about that," She said sarcastically.
"Alright, it was something." He paused. "Was it a mistake?"
"No, just, stop doubting yourself," She said, looking him straight in the eye. "Okay?"
Ezra tried not to look it, but he was mildly intimidated by her determination and bold way of going through with things. "Right." He cleared his throat. "So, do you want to hear more flute or just hangout…?"
"I'm going to draw," She took her sketchpad back out. "And you are going to help me,"
"Really?" Ezra sat closer to her to get a good angle on the sketchbook. "Thank you."
"So, what are we going to draw?" She asked.
"Just a precautious warning, I'm not that great at art." Ezra said with a slight chuckle. "I'm not sure. What are you best at?"
"One, art is not meant to be perfect, and two I can draw about almost anything,"
"That's awesome. Daisy's pretty good at art. She's tried to teach me, I guess we'll see if it paid off." He pulled a pencil out of his bag. "How about an animal of some sort?"
"Doesn't matter," She said, handing over the sketchpad, "You start,"

Ezra took the pencil and began roughly sketching a small bunny. It had a look of innocence in its eyes and one of its ears flopped over. In its paws was a small flower. "Your turn. It's still pretty rough so if you want to improve it I suppose that would be a good way to continue."
“It’s cute,” She grabbed her own pencil, first drawing a horizon line. She started to sketch out some trees with bird nests or some sort of fruit. Then she outlined the sun before stopping. “You finish the sunset,”
"Alright." Ezra erased a lot but ended up with something he liked a fair amount. "That looks really nice."
“Not done yet,” She took out a binder, filled with pencil crayons.
"Color. It brings hope and light to all it touches." Ezra smiled as he watched the color dance across the page.
“But, not all Ezra,” Lydial said darkly.
"Oh really? What aren't you gonna cover?" Ezra asked, mildly intrigued.
She ignored his question. “Not all colour brings hope and light,”
"True. And before you say black, black is the absence of light and since light is color black isn't really a color. The hope thing is more random." Ezra said, he loved science.
“Black isn’t a colour, it’s a shade,” She shook her head, snapping her out of the daze. “Sorry you had to hear, it,”
Ezra sighed. "Alright. If you say so…"
