"Hello beautiful darling." Dove started another braid.
"Hello beautiful darling." Dove started another braid.
Yeon smiled and nodded slowly. “I don’t think there’s a word for darling in Spanish. I could say hola hermosa cariño, that means hello beautiful honey.”
"That's sweet. My mother, she's the French one, and she used to sing a song to me every night. Clair De Lune? Heard of it?" Dove started to sing as soft as she could, "Au clair de la lune, mon ami Pierrot, prete-moi ta plume, pour écrire un mot."
( Aw, I actually speak french at home, and my mom used to sing me that too )
( that's cool! My mom would sing to me with the Edo lullaby)
(Nennen korori yo, Okorori yo.
Bōya wa yoi ko da, Nenne shina)
( That's awesome! :D )
Yeon listened before shaking his head. “Never heard it, my parents weren’t the lullaby type anyways when I was growing up,” he explained with a shrug.
"I can sing it to you then." Dove smiled, "Ma chandelle est morte, je n'ai plus de feu. Ouvre-moi ta porte, pour l'amour de Dieu."
Yeon listened to Dove sing. He wanted to tease her about how she said she didn’t want to sing in front of him, but had twice already. He didn’t though, and instead stayed silent as she did so.
"Au clair de la lune, pierrot répondit, Je n'ai pas de plume, je suis dans mon lit."
Yeon shifted postitions slightly and rested his hands on his chest. It was a nice sounding song, though he had no idea what any of it meant.
"It's long. If you want to hear all of it, I'm afraid you have to book special seating." she flashed a smile at him.
Yeon looked up at Dove and laughed. “Does that cost much? Because I’m sort of poor,” he said.
"Aren't we all? No, my tickets are affordable." Dove ran her fingers through Yeon's hair, "You just have to do the chicken dance for 3 minutes."
“I don’t think I’ll do that, then, chica,” Yeon said with a heavy laugh. He didn’t even know what that was to begin with.
“I like Prisoner of Azkaban best, too!” Liia laughed.
(sorry i just now realized I hadn't responded)
"Okay, then favorite character of all time? And I don't just mean in the Harry Potter series. Which character in any book have you loved the most?" Nathan asked. He had found that people's favorite characters had always seemed to reflect themselves, and he was interested about Liia's personality.
"It's too bad, I heard that my concerts are pretty good." Dove fake-pouted.
Yeon reached up and patted Doves cheek with his hand. “Keep on pouting, sol, it’s adorable,” he said.

“Well…. that’s hard,” Liia smiled. “I think my all time favorite would either be Meg McAffery from Trials of Apollo or Edward Tudor from The Prince and the Pauper.”

A small smile tilted the corner's of Charlie's lips upwards as she watched the two talk about their favorite novels. She continued to look at them silently, learning new things from the type of books they like.
Yeon reached up and patted Doves cheek with his hand. “Keep on pouting, sol, it’s adorable,” he said.
"Sol? What does that mean?" she leaned into his touch.
Nathan nodded at Liia's choices. "Yeah, both of those characters are pretty cool. But I have always loved Alex from The Unwanteds. Him, and book Ginny, from none other than Harry Potter."
“Yes! Movie Ginny was an idiot, which was disappointing. So was Ron. He’s worth more than comedic sidekick,” Liia said thoughtfully.
"Yeah!" Nathan agreed. "I feel like the producers could have definitely put more character into them."
“Definitely. Do you know that they cast a Teddy Lupin for the epilogue scene of DH and then cut him from a film?”
