"It probably does, but I know never to speak them aloud to normal people. But you're weird, like me, so I can make an exception." Dove's breath caught when he smiled at her and she ducked into the corner of her bed, fanning her warm face with her hand.
Yeon chuckled and grinned more. “Aw, chica. That’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever said to me. You deserve a reward.”
"Chocolate?! Or something better?" she slid away from her corner, blue eyes shining as she looked up at him.
Rose smiled. "Thanks. I appreciate it." She blushed. "You're really nice. especially for an only child." she grinned.
Jay chuckled, hiding his blush the best he could. "Thanks. You're really nice as well."
"Well, I can make a mean PB & J," Nathan replied. "My secret ingredient: bananas. They are actually really good with peanut butter and jelly, surprisingly."
"Bananas?" Charlie asked, raising a brow. "You'll have to make me one sometime. What else? Sports, skills, etcetera."
"Does marching band count as a sport? I was required to do it in freshman year in high school." Nathan thought back to his high school years, and although he had just graduated two years ago, it felt like a week ago. "Although I did try out for football. I made the team! But as water boy.
"Anyways, besides that, I guess I could call science a hobby? I don't know, but I like looking at the stars at night. Sometimes I go camping so I can get away from the city, just to look at the stars. Nerdy, but I do want to become an astronomer when I'm older. That, or a drummer for a famous band. Like, you know those bands with those awesome drummers, like Travis Barker, or John Bonham. Oh god, am I ranting now? Yep, I am." Nathan cringed at his awkwardness. This never used to happen at school, he was usually always calm and chill.
"Ah, just wait." Rose shrugged. "You'll soon see that you will hate me. Mostly nobody ever stays friends with me for more than a week."
"I find that hard to believe. You seem pleasant."
After a while, Ezra asked, "Are you finished?"
“Not exactly, something better. If you come up here you can have it,” Yeon said with a mischievous grin.
"Almost," She took out a micro-pen, quickly scribbling her signature at the bottom. "Done,"
"Better than chocolate?" Dove squinted and started climbing up. Is it ice cream? A new computer? A college degree?
"May I see?" Ezra asked a curious smile breaking out as he let out a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding.
"You like it?" Lydial turned around the sketch pad, "I can colour it if you want, I brought my art-case,"
(since it's an adventure rp, should something else happen so they're not just talking?)
(what if something happens on the road? I'm thinking dangerously, like maybe the bus is dangling off the tip of a cliff?)
(team bonding experience? lol)
"That sounds amazing. You'll be known as Nathan-the-football-team-waterboy-but-also-an-astronaut-and-awesome-drummer-at-the-same-time." Charlie grinned as tilted her head to side, still studying Nathan.
(or the bus gets stranded when they lose gas in the middle of a deserted road?)
(Something exciting needs to happen)
"What are you looking at?" Nathan asked Charlie, not accusingly, but just as a simple question. "Do I have chocolate on my mouth?"
(I gtg right now, I'll be back in half an hour)
"I've never seen such green eyes before." Charlie said, looking up to meet his gaze. "They're beautiful."
"Better than chocolate?" Dove squinted and started climbing up. Is it ice cream? A new computer? A college degree?
“Oh, definetly,” Yeon continued as he shifted positions to make room for her.
Ezra looked at it and smiled. "I like it. It's really well done. You really captured my irresistible good looks." He laughed lightly.
