"Good thing my parents don't give a single thought about me." Reaching back into his backpack, Nathan pulled out handfuls of candy bars and a couple bags of chips. "Dig in," he said, smiling. "It was supposed to be throughout the trip, but let's just have a buffet right now."
"Not at all." she half-opened her eyes, looking at him.
“What are you like, then?” Yeon asked, leaning back against his elbows.
"A huge klutz, shy, embarrassed easily, god, I don't like talking to people usually, kind of salty, awkward." she let go of him, laying down on her own pillow instead.
“Really? Just my type, chica,” Yeon said with a laugh, winking at Dove.
"Good thing my parents don't give a single thought about me." Reaching back into his backpack, Nathan pulled out handfuls of candy bars and a couple bags of chips. "Dig in," he said, smiling. "It was supposed to be throughout the trip, but let's just have a buffet right now."
"Thanks," Charlie laughed as she picked up a candy bar. "How'd you get all of these?" She asked, looking up as she began to unwrap the bar.
"I've been saving up for a rainy day," Nathan responded, peering out the window again. "Although it's not raining at all at the moment. I don't get any allowance, so I offer to babysit, mow lawns, and walk dogs. My parents don't know about it though. Last time they found out I had been saving money, they took it to spend on other frivolous things." He sighed, then changed the subject. "Anyways, after I left my house, I went to the gas station to buy snacks. Every good road trip has to have snacks."
Charlie nodded slowly in understanding. "I try to keep my money away from my brother so he doesn't buy certain things. I don't tell my parents about him though. . .so that he doesn't get in trouble." She sighed, looking down at the bar.
"It's always good to have a secret stash of candy though." Charlie finished, replacing the small frown on her face with a grin.
“Oh, definetly,” Yeon responded, chuckling a tad as he rolled his shoulder back.
"Totally," He agreed. "And you seem like a very kind sister," Nathan also mentioned.
"I guess." Charlie shrugged, a small smile tugging the corners of her lips upwards. "Do you have any siblings?"
"Th-that's nice." Dove sunk into her pillow, hiding her practically red face. I'm going back to myself again.
Yeon laughed at her suddenly timid nature. “There’s the real you,” He said in a teasing voice.
"I wish," Nathan replied. "Only child right here, and a lot of times, it gets boring. What's it like having a brother?" He asked curiously.
"Well, there's a lot of teasing and jokes involved. . . sometimes tackling," Charlie grinned, leaning against her seat. "But, we help each other, so it's nice."
"I'm really sorry about what I said earlier, I swear I'm not like that." she bit her lip, "Friends?"
(yep, that's how my rl brother and I act lol)
Nathan chuckled. "Sounds like fun." He grabbed a king-sized Milky Way and ate half the bar in a single bite. "But I guess I lied, I do have a dog," he said in between chews. "We don't make jokes though," he mentioned, laughing.
(Alright)
Yeon chuckled and smiled, giving Dove a nod. “Of course, friends.”
"Friends." Dove nodded again.
Yeon lyed back on the bed, hands rested on his stomach. “So, what now, chica?”
(@Meow it's your turn I believe…)
