"I'm Roselen. Just call me Rose." She smiled, extending a hand.
Dove took it, trying to keep her smile.
"What's your talent?"
(hey I'm back now.)
Nathan laughed as the song finished. Liia was still quiet, so he decided to just let her be. He took out his book and began to read, while everyone else was enveloped in their own conversations.
Charlie grinned as she watched everyone take part in the song, her deep blue eyes lighting up as she listened. She fiddled with the strap of her guitar case as she sat down across from a dark haired boy and a quieter girl.
(Nathan and Liia, if that was confusing xD )
Braydon and Jessica began talking energetically again, exchanging stories about tour mishaps and the antics of the members of their bands at three in the morning when they were high on creativity and no sleep.
Rose bit her lip, thinking. "Well I wouldn't say Talent.. I'm not very good… but I play the violin and can sing." She shrugged. "How about you?"
Seeing that someone new had sat down next to him and Liia, Nathan closed his book and looked at the girl with stunning eyes. "Hi there. I'm Nathan. I see you play guitar?" He asked, nodding at the instrument she held with her.
"I sing. I know, it's pretty basic, but I love doing it." she smiled, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear.
"Nah it's cool. I'm sure you have a beautiful voice. You're really pretty, too." She smiled.
"How do you know there isn't a bassoon hiding in here?" Charlie joked, glancing down at her case. "But, yeah, I play guitar. I'm Charlie."
"Well, nice to meet you, Charlie-who-may-or-may-not-have-a-bassoon-hiding-in-her-guitar-case. As you can see, I am a lead singer." With that, Nathan belted out a really high note, which he totally butchered. He laughed. "But as a second choice, I drum."
Dove felt her mouth open, "I-I don't really think so." her thoughts came creeping back.
She's just joking. You're so ugly even ghosts avoid you. You're so pathetic that your own parents don't care. Don't humor yourself. This is the ugly truth.
"Nice to meet you Nathan-who's-a-lead-singer-but-chooses-to-drum-instead." Charlie grinned, looking at the drum sticks in his hands. "Looks like we have a whole bus full of musicians."
(Aw, Charlie and Nathan are so cute when they talk)
(FLUFF)
(Dove is depressed and anorexic, so she doesn't really smile that much)
"No you are! Your eyes are gorgeous!" Rose exclaimed.
"Thanks." it was best not to argue. They didn't understand. Even if her eyes were "pretty" she was ugly on the inside too.
"Seems so. So what do we have to do, perform together?" He asked, not really expecting an answer. Sure, though, it would be a fun experience to meet all these new people. Maybe he could write some new music with some inspiration. "Anyways, how long have you been playing?"
"Since I was eight, but then I decided to learn boxing too. How about you?" Charlie replied, rubbing a recent cut near her eye from a fight as she looked back up at Nathan. She had never seen eyes as green as his.
Rose frowned a little, noticing that something was wrong. She didn't want to push her luck with a new person, maybe even a friend. "What's your favorite animal?" She asked.
(I'm going to bed, g'night y'all!)
(night @Irish_Dancer1102!)
( Good night! )
"Boxer, nice. I played the drums only since I was twelve. And, um," Nathan began to hesitate, because he didn't really tell many people about his other instrument, in fear that they would tease him. "I played the cello since I was four. It's really fun, but I never hear of any other boys playing it," he laughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.
Lydial sat with her notebook full of song lyrics, watching everyone talking to one another. If I'm lucky enough, I'll make a friend.
(I gotta go to dinner, I'll be back soon)
