"Yes," Marlowe decided, shutting her locker. "We need to save him from those disgusting freaks."
"Yes," Marlowe decided, shutting her locker. "We need to save him from those disgusting freaks."
"You should do it, I have a meeting with dad's secretary." she said with a glint in her eyes that said she new shit was about to go down.
"Okay, have fun," Marlowe said with a tinge of sarcasm. She turned around and walked towards Halo with definite swagger in her step. She stepped right in front of him, stopping not even two feet from him. "You must be new here."
Halo barely even gives her a glance, brushing past her, "Honestly, don't you have some toy to mess with?" He says firmly, glancing back at her before walking towards the principals office.
Marlowe's lips parted in shock for a moment, a burst of hurt flitting across her features before she regained her composure. "Listen here, jerk. I was just trying to warn you."
"Warn me of what?" He replies, glancing back at her, setting a hand on his hip, obviously unimpressed. Halo had two moods, sweet and shy, or hard and defensive.
"Warn you before you decided to mingle with the wrong sort of people," she said conspiratorially, making herself appear a little bit hurt. "I didn't want you to get stuck with them. It would make your life hell. So I was offering my friendship to you. You don't have to be so rude, you know." She looked into his eyes, using an expression that usually had the affect of getting what she wanted.
Halo raises a brow at her, leaning his weight on his left leg as he looks at her. "I'll think about your offer." He replies, offering his hand. "Halo Starr." He says casually. The eyes didn't work on him. They never did.
“Marlowe Kingsbury, But you can call me Mar if you want,” she replied, shaking his hand. She smiled.
"Pleasure." He replies, watching her closely. He runs a hand through his hair and walks towards the principals office, humming in thought.
Marlowe watched him go. Pity he was so rude, but that could be fixed. She had a feeling that he would be a misfit sympathesizer, which annoyed her.
Lila was just grabbing her things out of her locker when she noticed a new kid. Specifically, a new kid who had just been talking to Marlowe Kingsbury. She watched him head towards the principal's office, then beelined to her first class. She found Kelton and perched on the edge of his desk. "New kid alert," she muttered. "Looks decent, but I did see him talking to Marlowe Kingsbury."
Jessica's eyes didn't take her eyes off of Halo untill she realized he was walking away. Jessica quicky ran to catch up to him " Hi I'm Jessica Your the transfer student right ?" she asked.
Halo looks down at the girl. He raises a brow. "Yeah, I guess." He looks at her with slight curiosity.

Kelton glanced at Lila who came in and smiled at her. "Name?" He asked, continuing on his drawing.
Adresin made his way down the halls, rushing to his friends with a confident swagger, practically ripping his sunglasses from his face.
"Sup?" He asked, nodding his head in greeting to Marlowe, "Why do ya look so annoyed?"

"No clue. Still figuring out some details. Hold on." Lila stood up and poked her head out of the classroom door, looking for the new kid. She freezed when she saw Jessica talking to him, and took off to Kelton's desk. "Red alert," she said, resuming her perch. "Jess is talking to him and she's got serious heart eyes."
Kelton looked up from his drawing and at Lila. "Even better," He said sarcastically. "He's going to think we're the bad people in this school now," He added, standing up and peeking his head out of the classroom to look at the new kid.
Halo looked rather bored at the moment, as if he just wanted to get this day over with. I mean, sure. He was a transfer from Britain, but this many people was starting to get on his nerves. Was his accent that noticeable.
“That new kid was rude to me,” she complained. “He May be hot but nobody insults me.”
Jessica smiled "well I hope to see you around" she said and walked to her class which, Kelton and Lila were in.
Kelton went back to his desk and continued working on his drawing again.
"Want me to take care of him?" He growled, his accent thickening as he crossed his arms over his chest, "I can beat the hotness outta him."
( I just picture him with like a Boston accent?? My step-mom has the most stereotypical like, Boston accent xD )
Halo sighs and enters the principals room. His eyes scan the room, his wings fluttering, his eyes turning a faint crimson before returning to blue.
Marlowe giggled. “Not yet,” she replied. “He might turn out to be halfway decent yet.”
