"I'd tend to agree with Shane here, except most drugs'll get you a lifetime of addiction and sex'll get you at least an orgasm if you run in the right circles." He turned to Chris with a grin. "And if you think the chair is bad you should probably avoid just about everything in the house. Bear liked bending me over every flat surface he could find."
(also, before anything else happens in the vein of mature stuff, where should we draw the line before we either; 1. stop or 2. go to pms?)
(right about here is good lol)
(alright, sounds good! don't want anyone getting uncomfy)
(I'm cool with whatever I guess)
(I'm cool with keeping at abt this level or lower)
(Anyway shall we try and get back on track now? XD)
(that sounds good!)
(yesyes)
"wow, Tam, not how I wanted to be remembering the big guy, but.." He blinks, "Yeah, no, definitely not how I wanted to be remembering him today"
Tam snorted. "Better than remembering his corpse." He finished the last of his alcohol, passing the cup over to Davie. "Pour me another, won't you?"
“Yeah, thanks for putting that wonderful image in my head. Recounting your sexual exploits really just puts me in a lovely mood,” Shane snarks.
"ANYWAY!" A light flush appeared across Chris' cheeks as they turned their head away from Tam. Their eyes drifted over the entire room, Chris could practically see the unhygienic things that had happened there… "Can we get back on track please? We are here today to talk business, not pleasure."
Davie pours two more drinks, one for him,and another for Tam "Cheers?" he asks, handing the glass back to him
"Cheers." Tam lifted the glass in Davie's general direction and then drank half of it on the spot. "And… yeah, Chris's right. We need to talk business, who's going to be on the council?"
“Business sounds great. Please, let’s focus on business,” Shane pleads. He shuffles uncomfortably in his chair and fiddles with something in his suit pocket.
"Naturally, I should, as I am the one who talks to a majority of our customers," Davie says, throwing another drink back.
Chris took the bottle out of reach from everyone, and reluctantly sat back down by Tam as they started to drink from the bottle. "As I have said, I don't want to but I will. Even if it does mean I have to switch up my stuff a little, no that I had much going on anyway." They drained almost all of what was left in the bottle.
“I believe my having a seat on the Council would be beneficial as well. I’ll need as much high-level access as I can get to continue planning our various machinations,” Shane suggests. “I hope I don’t sound too presumptuous.”
"Greedy, greedy" Davie says, chuckling, "Taking the rest of the bottle…and me either really, customer interaction has come to a slow"
(What did I miss?)
"You both know what you're doing, I don't think it's too pompous to tell us that." Tam shrugged. "And I've been…" he paused carefully, "keeping in contact with most of our enemies. I think I'd offer some good perspective if I were part of things."
(What did I miss?)
(not a whole ton, heavy petting and a slow inch towards everyone not hating each other)
"So, it seems more the question is, who isn't part of things.." Davie mutters, "Who don't we trust?"
“To be honest, I barely trust myself,” Shane jokes. “But I personally don’t have anyone I particularly suspect of treason.”
