Where are my How To Train Your Dragon fans? (warning: spoilers for those who haven't seen The Hidden World)

Basically an rp set after the third movie, except the dragons didn't leave because I'm not ready to let them go just yet.

There were already dragon riders living on "New Berk" before the Berkians and their dragons arrived. The tribe was small—barely forty people—and peaceful. Some chose to live with the Berkians in their new village, and some chose to remain outsiders (still on peaceful terms).

Hiccup isn't gonna be a main character in this, sorry. Original characters only, though there may be some mentions of the chief and his wife and the gang and all that.

Basically, create a character and dragon. You can create a new species of dragon or use an existing one. Make sure you specify the class.

Human:
Name: Solvej Dagfur (Sol)
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Appearance: Mid-length, choppy and highly uneven black hair. Usually tied back with string.Tons of freckles, pale skin and bright blue eyes. Old scars from a dragon that tried to kill her from her temple to right below her left eye, and another below that's parallel, ending just next to her bottom lip. Thin and wiry, but muscled from her time as a blacksmith and dragon training/riding.
Personality: Confident and stubborn as a night fury, Sol must always get her way. She's unafraid of confrontation, and in fact relishes every opportunity she gets to undermine her opponents. At the same time she's friendly, and has a tendency to strike up a conversation with anyone who happens to linger a bit too long at her shop.
Backstory (must include how they met/trained dragon): Sol was raised by her father, a blacksmith, and her mother, a tailor. She perfected both skills, but always had a natural affinity to blacksmithing. Unlike most of the tribes near them, Sol's tribe would never partake in killing of the dragons. In older times, the dragons were feared and respected as gods, and the tribe would leave them offerings in exchange for peace. With time, however, and after deeming the tribe as a non-threat, the dragons eventually became curious and and more comfortable around them. It wasn't long before the tribe discovered the true nature of the dragons, and from there, become trainers. Sol, herself, met her dragon when she was seventeen. It was by chance, really, when she'd been in persuit of the perfect metal to forge her new sword in. She'd ventured into a cave on the far side of the island, three day's journey from the village, and stumbled into a shadow slicer. Later she'd come to learn that the shadow slicer was one of the rarest species of dragon, only barely better off than the legendary night fury itself. She'd started the poor thing, causing it to lash out—thus the scars on her face. After demonstrating she was no threat, however, the dragon was the reason she made it back to her village in time to receive medical treatment. From that day on, the dragon and Sol became best friends.

Dragon:
Name: Wildflight
Species: Shadow slicer
Class: Unknown
Age: ≈20
Gender: Female
Ability/ies: Sustained fire; invisible in shadows and at night (by will); stronger sense of smell than most other dragons, rivaling even those from the Tracker class. Total night and thermal vision. Can willingly dull its claws for either digging or to be used as a warning blow. (Basically what happened to Sol.)
Appearance: Black scales with an indigo hue in broad daylight. Blue eyes. Four limbs, excluding tail, and four foldable tail flaps for optimal maneuverability. Narrow build for slipping through tight spaces and navigating in the dark. The shadow slicer has extremely sharp and powerful claws (hence the name), strong enough to slice through rock with enough motivation. Wingspan is quite large, meant for soaring silently, similarly to an owl, although thin enough to pull off sharp turns in mid-flight.
