She frowned at the book in front of her, sliding it aside to crack open another one
He noticed a woman reading lore and he realises she's either a hunter or a teacher, and he sincerely hoped she was the latter. He turned back to face the bar, watching her out of the corner of his eyes.
She fiddled with the flask of holy water at her side, holding her head in her hands, letting a few quiet curses escape. "I hate Archangels…" She muttered ((I figured that some archangels went crazy and are trying to destroy everything? If you don't want to do that that's fine, it was just the first thing that popped into my head))
(Yep that works)
He heard her mutter 'Archangels' and he tenses up. It had been all over the news of Archangels were trying to destroy the city, every night they'd hit a new place. It would be dangerous to even think about attacking them.
She took another swig of beer, ready to just go and deal with them her damn self. She looked around at the other patrons, her eyes finding themselves looking at a man at the bar. Why am I getting a weird vibe from him…Fuck
Razin feels someone looking at him and turns around, he locks eyes with the maybe hunter and holds her gaze.
Melody tilted her head to the side, hand grasping her holy water, hoping he wasn't going to try anything.
He quickly glanced at her hand and the holy water it was holding, Fan-fucking-tastic, she is a hunter. And I bet she's gonna try take on those Archangels.
She narrowed her eyes, getting up and leaving some money on the table to pay for her drink as she gathered up her books
He went turned back to the bar, looking down at his drink before taking a swig.
She walked past, clutching her books as she mentally formed a plan
"You're not thinking of taking on the Archangels, are you?" He couldn't stop himself from asking, turning to face her once more.
She turned to face him, looking at him coldly. "What's it to you?"
He raised an eyebrow, "So you are?"
"Yeah. Can't exactly let them keep doing this." She said matter of factly
"I assume you have a team, you'd have to, if not it'd be suicide," He said.
She narrowed her eyes. "I don't play with others, sweetheart." She said, turning to go
"You're going to die," He said quietly, "you can't beat them alone."
She ignored him, walking purposely outside
He debated what to do, on one hand, he could follow her, on the other he could do nothing. He sighed, finishing his drink and putting the money on the counter.
She jogged down an alleyway, slipping an angel blade she picked up out of her bag and her books into it
He left the pub and slowly followed behind her. Watching her discreetly.
She smirked to herself, stopping. "I knew demons were determined, but really?"
"I knew that Humans were stupid, but really?" He countered, stepping out of the shadows.
