"Oh she just asked why you would be paying since it's your bar." Lexie said laughing

"私はパニックです、いいですか?" Jess says, flushing a slightly deeper red.

"Your fine don't worry about it." She said giggling

"I'VE NEVER BEEN BEEN JUST TOLD THAT MY NIGHTLY DRINKING SESSION IS A DATE!" Jess continues to panic, finally managing to stop speaking Japanese.

"Well- this is my first one so me either!" She yipped excitedly

Oliver raised his eyebrows. "Really?" he asked. "You've never been on a drinking date?"

"I've never gone drinking-" she admitted

"you've-" he said astonished "You've never gone drinking? Is this the first time you've tasted alcohol?"

"I've drank alcohol of course but I've never gone to a bar."

"Ok." Oliver said. "That makes a bit more sense."

I mean- I'm legally not supposed to be i believe-"

"I shouldn't have been drinking until, like, a few months ago but my mom was giving me wine at dinner when I was younger, so I'm used to alcohol." Jess snickers.

Well I have a few years until im legal.." she said shyly

"If you don't mind, how old are you?" he asked. "I just want to know how much trouble i'm going to be in."

Lexie snickered and looked at the man behind the bar "well im a legal adult…im just not twenty-one yet…im nineteen.."

"Oh, that's not that bad." Oliver said, refilling her drink.

Lexie shrugged and picked up the glass once it was filled and swished it around while looking at it "I suppose but it would definitely still get me into trouble."

"Only if you got caught."

She shrugged before tipping her cup towards her slowly and taking a swig of the bitter spicy liquor "i supose so..i haven't gotten caught yet so that's a plus."

Oliver nodded and held his cup with both hands. He looked out the window to the slowly brighten sky outside.
