(Are we all in the same cab or something?)
(Yep)
Kenzie crawled out after him.
"Hey, at least it wasn't eight hours!" she exclaimed. "That would be way worse."
"Yes but when you have long legs it happens to be a pain."
(Okee)
Ellen hopped out after them. "No kidding. Really really bumpy though."
Skipper slid out behind the others silently. She hadn't made a single sound on the way to the hotel. "It wasn't that bumpy, compared to other car rides I've been in." She said softly, wanting to at least let the others know that she was capable of speech.
"I didn't mind the bumps so much." Jesse sighed. "Well, get the bags."
Sam skipped out of the van, her long skirt decorated with glittering sequins flowed out behind her.
Ellen nodded, and raced back to the trunk. She lifted the top and tossed out a bag. "Catch!" She shouted over her shoulder.
Skipper grabbed her backpack and duffel bag, slinging them over her shoulder.
Kenzie caught the bag Ellen had tossed, fumbling with it for a moment before she set it down on its rollers. The pale pink bag was brand new, as she had just bought it for this trip.
"Should we go inside, now?" she asked.
"Yeah. looks like rain."
Ellen tossed out another bag before grabbing hers. "Yeah. Probably."
(Are our parents with us orβ¦)
Skipper turned to the front of the hotel. She gulped. Why had her parents sent her here again?
(Nope)
Jinx sipped his juice box quietly and grabbed his backpack. It was the same pastel shade of pink as his hair and he slipped it on, looking up at the hotel.
"Jinx would you mind not making the rest of us look mundane? Your fabulousness is blinding me."
Kenzie looked up at the darkening sky.
"Huh. Yeah, it does, doesn't it? Well, let's hurry, then! I don't want to be stuck out here when the sky breaks open!" she exclaimed. "Last one to the door is a rotten egg!"
Ellen giggled before catching up to Jesse and softly touching his elbow. "Thanks for talking Horace and Rhonda into letting me come with you." She murmured.
"Are you kidding? I have tons of sequined and metallic shirts in my backpack and I intend to outshine you everyday." Jinx laughed, patting the straps of his backpack. He pulled some sparkly sunglasses from his pocket and handed them to Jesse. "Here."
"No problem. though I think Horace would have slugged me if I'd told him we were going to his rival hotel."
Skipper cracked a small smile. Okay, so maybe it wasn't going to be so bad after all. All she had to do was stay quiet and she would be fine.
"Thank you. Though I don't think I'll need them today."
Skipper took off after Kenzie, not wanting to be the last one in.
"So do we have to share rooms or?" He stuffed the sunglasses back in his pocket, heading towards the door.
