"Let me see her." Wrath said, taking the pan off the stove and untying her hair. She stalked out of the kitchen and towards the girl.
"Let me see her." Wrath said, taking the pan off the stove and untying her hair. She stalked out of the kitchen and towards the girl.
Pride quickly darted behind Wrath. Pride wasn't afraid of Wrath, which is why they got along a bit better than Wrath and some other certain Sins. The only one Pride argued with was Sloth, and some light skirmishes with Cyd.
Lust looked at Wrath as she came in. Running a hand through her short hair lust stood up "hello love." She smiled
Cyd, wisely and uncharacteristically, kept his mouth shut as Wrath walked in. He just watched attentively, ready to flee should Wrath act up.
Sloth's left eye twitched in annoyance at the sight of Wrath entering the room, as he began to cross his arms and wonder if he should leave before something were to happen or stay & see where this would lead.
Maeve bit her lip. The others seemed afraid of Wrath, and they definitely had good reason to be. "Um, h-hello," Maeve whispered, her eyes darting around nervously.
"Hello, do you have at least an email from whoever sold you this house?" Wrath asked, pulling out her reading glasses.
Pride was pretty taken aback by Wrath's cool demeanor. Maybe this was a build up to something… she's have to stay and watch.
"Yes," Maeve said quietly. She pulled out her phone and showed the email to Wrath, doing her best to keep her hand from trembling.
Sloth leaned his head back as a large yawn was released from his mouth. "Well as fun as this all is I'm going to retreat towards my lovely bed, nobody wake me up unless it's time for dinner or the house is on fire." Sloth spoke as he trudged up the stairs towards his room.
Cyd pouted as Sloth escaped to his room. "So unfair," he whined. He was no longer interested in the new girl. His fingers were itching to steal something. But nothing had yet to catch his picky eye.
Pride rose from the couch, comfortable that Lust and Wrath had a hand on the situation. In this instance, Pride was the rational one. When Pride is rational, things are bound to turn south.
Maeve looked worried as Wrath read the email. She didn't want to be the one rocking the boat, but it looked like that was exactly what she'd done.
Wrath looked down at the email, she towered over Maeve so she had to lean down. "Seems legit, don't bother me and we have an agreement."
"Oh wow. That's nice. Uh… welcome." Pride was taken aback, which is rare for her.
"O-Okay," Maeve agreed quietly. Seemed easy enough. Maeve wasn't exactly the person who looked to get into trouble.
Lust looked around the room and sighed "can we order pizza today?"
Maeve didn't reply, feeling tentative to reply to the demons still.
"No. I just made food." Wrath replied, pointing to the kitchen. "And don't try to do it behind my back agian."
"Oh come on Wrath! What did you even make?" Lust grumbled
"Grilled cheese. If you don't like it, you don't need to eat." Wrath growled, glaring at Lust as Envy snickered behind her.
"Grilled cheese is gross, but its food." She sighed "I want to go into town, a tone want to come?" She called
"I like grilled cheese," Maeve whispered faintly.
"Good, I'll make you extra." Wrath preened, she liked people who liked her food, and if they didny…
Maeve smiled shyly. "Okay…"
