Fiona could feel the blush that was spreading on her cheeks and she tucked a strand of hair out of her face as she waited for him to call her over to get the bill.
Fiona could feel the blush that was spreading on her cheeks and she tucked a strand of hair out of her face as she waited for him to call her over to get the bill.
Lyle awkwardly waved Fiona to come to collect his bill and money. She would have to come back once more with a receipt so he would still see her. He felt his face grow red. He wanted to go home and sleep in time to be ready for work.
Fiona walked back up to the guy and she blushed harder, "Alright, are you, um, done with the bill?" she asked him, knowing she was talking quietly.
She talked really quiet. Lyle could barely hear her but she said something about his bill so he nodded his head and she took the bill. He stood up as she walked away and stretched. He started to head for the door forgetting about the receipt.
Fiona quickly got the receipt and walked back to the guy's table, she sighed when he wasn't there and she walked after him, seeing that he was headed to the door. "Mister? Sir, you forgot your receipt!"
"Sir? You forgot your receipt!" A voice sounded behind Lyle, he turned and turned red, very red. Fiona was holding out the receipt to him looking a little embarrassed.
Fiona looked at the guy and then quickly glanced at the floor "Sorry for distracting you.." she held out his receipt and tried to hide her bright red face.
"O-oh, n-no Miss. It w-was my f-fault I forgot about it." Lyle said embarrassed, "U-um t-thanks." He took it and continued to his car. H got in and started the engine. He drove home and flopped on his bed, his face still red.
Fiona nodded and walked away, still embarrassed. She smiled and hung up her uniform, ready for a nice, quiet afternoon of college classes and a fancy dinner, just because. She walked back to her house and quickly grabbed her backpack, walking back to the college campus for her classes.
Lyle could barely sleep he was still thinking of Fiona and during that time to get her out of his he decided to go to his old college and get some new tips and news from his old Culinary teacher. He went there a lot. He still had a whole hour before his shift. Lyle headed to the college and went inside and started to go straight to Mr. Harle's classroom. He hoped he didn't have a class going on.
Fiona got to her class and dumped her bag onto one of the chairs, needing to stop blushing a little bit before class began. She walked down the hall and sat down on the floor, covering her face with her hands "What's wrong with me.." she mumbled to herself and smiled lightly.
Lyle stepped into the classroom. A class was just starting, Better make it quick I suppose He thought. He couldn't stop thinking about Fiona either. He blushed she was really cute, he wanted her number. No, no stop Lyle stop trying to imagine this fantasy forget her. He sighed and walked up to Mr. Harle.
Fiona stood up and leaned her head against the wall, still not ready to go to class yet, Stupid, you don't even know his name.. she thought to herself and sighed. She decided to take a walk down the hallway since she had a few minutes before she needed to get to class.
Lyle talked with Mr. Harle for a couple minutes and then left. When he was walking through the halls he walked straight into someone. Dang it He thought, his eyes widened when he saw who it was. No way
Fiona backed up and looked at the ground, not bothering to see who it was "I'm sorry," she looked up quickly and gasped "Um…Hi," she immediately blushed and looked away again, tucking a stray strand of hair away from her face as she did.
"Uummmmmmmmmmmmmm…." Lyle stood awkwardly, he looked towards the door. That would be rude to ignore her "Hi…U-um Fi…Fiona right?" He laughed nervously. ACK I SOUND SO STUPID He thought.
Fiona nodded "Yeah.." she bounced on her feet and looked around, trying to focus on anything besides him.
She was avoiding his gaze. "Um I'm Lyle." He stuck out his hand awkwardly and smiled.
Fiona shook his hand and smiled lightly "Fiona, though you already knew that," she finally looked at him and her face immediately heated up, Stupid, stupid, stupid, what are you doing?? her mind was screaming and yet she ignored it.
He saw her blush he smiled stupidly, "So, uh you want to hang out or something tomorrow since its Saturday?" This was taking up all of Lyle's confidence, he ignored his brain screaming at him for how stupid he was
Fiona smiled "Sure," she started fiddling with the edge of her shirt and smiling like a two year old.
Lyle gave her his number and left to go to his shift at Olive Garden.
