Conner stumbled and caught himself, taking deep breaths, "Right, right, okay," he took a couple of breaths, "He went that way," the boy pointed in the direction that Thomas had indeed ran.
~In le meanwhile~
Thomas had tied Fiona up in a chair and was sitting a few feet away with his back to the girl. Therer was the occasional sound of metal scraping against wood as the ex-marine carved away at a block of wood
Fiona struggled against the chair, yeeling every so often in frustration. "Let. Me. Go." She growled at the man.
Thomas ignored her, continuing to scrape at the wood with agonizing repetition, flipping the carving over in his hand every so often to admire his work
"What do you want?" She asked, her voice slightly scratchy from yelling. She looked at the ropes and the chair, chuckling lightly I never thought I'd die like this.. She thought, her hands curling into fists.
Thomas held the statue to the light, blowing off a light layer of sawdust that covered it, "Same as you," he said, "Survival." he stood, setting down the carving, "Look, I hate this as much as you do, kid. Never thought I'd scrape this low, but desperate times call for desperate measures," he said, grabbing a large flask off of the shelf, "Water?" he offered kindly, "I don't want to hurt you, I just need some basic sipplies and I'll let you go,"
"And why on earth should I trust you." She said with a laugh "You just kidnapped me, and now you are offering me water. For all I know it could be poisoned. Or you could be lying to me and if I helped you you would just kill me anyways." She rambled on, stressed and slightly angry "If you do kill me by the way, bury me in the country somewhere, by a tree or something would be nice. Also, some sort of grave marker, at least be a nice psycho. You know, I thought about getting kidnapped once, I ended up beating up the kidnapper and everything ended happily..too bad it was a dream. "
Thomas raised an eyebrow, holding out the flask silently, allowing her to ramble. He took a long drink of the water, then held it back out again, waiting patiently for her to finish her rant.
""Why are you still offering me water?" She continued, "I mean, you are a scary dude that tied me to a chair. Now that sounds weird..why do I think of these things? Seriously, I could be out practicing with my gun some more, but Nooo, gotta have Mr. Creep here kidnap me and actually pretend to be nice to me. I wonder what Conner is doing right now, probably freaking out and murdering someone." She looked around the room and kicked her legs like a little kid "Sorry I'm rambling…I'm kinda stressed and this was just the icing on my stress cake, so now Congrats! You get to listen to me for hours on end, talking about my life and why i'm stressed. I mean, after the apocalypse life just got…weird. I would go look for food and I would see animals everywhere, along with the occasional zombie or two. Then I just left one day and now i've been on this crazy adventure and then I ended up here, where I will probably die. In which case I'm sorry to everyone I ever knew, life is just weird and I am very weird at times.."
She is my literal mood//
Thomas gave up and set the canister back on the shelf, "If you change your mind let me know," he said, returning to his carving.
Waiting for Bucky so she and Conner can yeet over…//
(Im waitin so I can yeet anything…)
XD I just wrote down whatever came to mind..that is literally my mind every day..Including the stress cake thing//
FIona gave him a look that said 'Seriously?' before going back to ranting "I really hope that Karma comes back and bites you in the butt, I'll just sit and laugh too. Until Karma comes for me…In which case I'm outta here, I got to much to do, too much to see before I die. Before all of this happened one of the things on my bucket list was to dress in a bright yellow shirt that said 'Life' and hand out lemons to random people." She laughed slightly "I mean, 'when life gives you lemons.' That would be hilarious. But now I don't get to do that, stupid apocalypse getting in the way. I also wanted to go water skiing..and run a marathon, and get an Australian Shepherd and name it Spark. I think I would have had a pretty cool life, instead of shooting guns at cans and getting kidnapped. At least the others are ok..especially Conner. Hey, wait, did you say he was my boyfriend? That is cool, I didn't really think about that..this surviving is having a weirs effect on my brain I think." She stopped abruptly and smiled, "Can I continue? or is this getting boring?"
(Its….. Getting boring XD….. DX)
(XD I know, that's why I stopped Fiona suddenly)
Claire slept well, all except for the momentary twitches of her in her awful nightmare. Henry had finally found her, and no one could bring her back. They went back, and she finished her entire life being the abhorrid wife of the egoistic Henry. She woke with a jolt. “You can’t do this to me!!!” She screamed wildly.
Dare startled when Claire woke up screaming. “Hey, hey. Calm down. I’m right here. You’re safe. You’ll always be safe with me…” He held her closer, trying to calm her down.
Darren looks out the door warily.
"I- well, I'm not specifically staying here for you. I just- I want to be away from the maniacs, but not alone…" he looks back to App, "do you understand?"
App nodded quickly. “Yes. I understand.” She understood perfectly. “But I’m not quite so sure I’m not insane either…”
Dare startled when Claire woke up screaming. “Hey, hey. Calm down. I’m right here. You’re safe. You’ll always be safe with me…” He held her closer, trying to calm her down.
She sniffled, more tears pouring out of her eyes. "I-I'm sorry you h-have to deal with m-me…." Claire stammered, curling in on herself. "I'm just…. Really t-tired… But I can't go to sleep w-without dreaming… That nightmare…" She screwed her eyes shut. Don't look at me…
Dare’s heart was breaking at the sight of her crying. He didn’t know why, but he felt this strange connection to her that he couldn’t quite trace. “Claire. Hey. Look at me….” He took her face gently in his hands and turned her towards him. He stroked his thumb across her cheeks, wiping away tears.
She felt his warmed hands on her face, but she couldn't open her eyes. I can't let myself see his abhorrid reaction… Claire tried to pull away. "I c-can't," She stammered. Courtesy, courtesy, courtesy….. The word echoed in her mind.
But that feeling of his thumb across her cheek…
Dare grew frustrated. He bit his lip then did something on impulse. He quickly muttered a “I’m sorry about this”, then smashed his lips to hers.
(Because I got f*** tired of Dare beating around the bush.)

(AAAUUUGHGNB I understand…. She's just super subborn and… Yeah…. But I also kinda didn't want to be that instantaneous… Meh. Do what you feel :3)
Claire's eyes opened up with extreme astonishment, her chest burning with a sense of real love. The kind she never really felt beforehand. I…. I don't even know this guy's name…. She felt compelled to draw away– but she savored the moment for a second before finally drawing away, totally red and flustered.

Molly sighs, irritated, tired and hurt.
The only reason I'm going after Fiona is because she's the only sensible one besides me in this group.
She ignores the panging sting of her new, black and yellow bruise on her arm.
"Come on, Shrimp." She begrudgingly says over her shoulder.
Darren looks out the door warily.

Night had fallen. The building was silent. Darren stands and sighs.
"I think I shall go find the group so they don't wander and leave me." He sarcastically says.

Conner followed her, habitually checking every few seconds that the bullets did indeed not magically disappear and were still in the chamber. hang on Fiona he silently willed the girl, looking around for any signs of where they may have went
