App was even more worried now that the otger girl spoke up. “Well, neither do I. Do you at least know how you got here?”
"I got into a crash. That's all i remember"
App was starting to get confused as she tried to carry on both of the conversations. She said to Mira, “At least that’s something.” To Claire she chirped, “Then can we be friends or no?”
"you could say that" She said as she tried moving her right arm
App saw that Mira was having difficulty moving her arm and immediately went momma bear mode. “Oh my goodness! You hurt your arm?!” She reached out to touch it but immediately pulled back, not wanting to touch it without permission.
She shrugged a bit, trying not to make it too hard on both App and herself. I can't be heartbroken again…. If I become friends, things will just get harder for when… They… She cursed at herself as she felt another urge to burst into tears.
"I can't feel anything actually"
App then saw Claire make an upset face and she started worrying, “Claire, what’s wrong?” She looked back at Mira’s injured arm and back at Claire and repeated this movement a couple times before clutching her head as a pain shot through it. “W-what? I-I…” she hissed as another bolt of pain zipped through her skull again.
"maybe deal with the other person for now"
"We can't be friends and we never will be!" Claire suddenly blurted, trying not to overwhelm anyone, but contradicted itself. I can't…. She shook her head. How can I be this awful?
Mira was confused about why she said that to app
Apollyon’s legs collapsed underneath her when Claire yelled at her. She felt her head as an insane smile spread across her face. “Of course not… nobody likes to be friends with a monster. Why on earth did I think I’d have friends now? I’m just a monster. A monster. A monster. Monster. Monster…” Tears started falling thick and fast over the psychotic grin that was plastered over her face.
Mira didn't know how to react.
"It's not what it sounds…." Claire already knew that the deed was done, and she couldn't take it back for anything in the world. "It'll– It'd just be hard… When they take me back…." She put her face in her hands. Only if she never left the city, they wouldn't have found her, and she wouldn't be in this monsterous mess.
App didn’t hear anyone anymore. “Monster. Monster. Monster. They called me monster. They called me experiment. They were right. They were all right! I should have died like the others did!!”
Mira tried to snap her out of it
Claire didn't really want to force herself into doing it…. But since things went downhill, she truly didn't want to deal with much of it anymore. She eyed the gun Fiona was carrying, and her hand flinched.
Yet, she had to set things straight with App first. "I never said…" Dammit, it's all I do anymore– make things worse…
App just froze when she saw Claire’s eyes flick towards Fiona’s gun. “Yes. That’s right. Just kill me. I’m going to die anyways.”
Mira slapped her hoping that would work
Claire shook her head. If I'm killing anyone…. It's gonna be this disappointing girl constantly in crosshairs. She really didn't want to do it, but she had no chance.
When Mira slapped her, she went limp, the world going blank and her memory resetting again, but only up for the last couple minutes. Her eyes were wide and blank, the crazy smile gone from her face.
"W-what did i do…"
App was mouthing words that weren’t being spoken. She kept staring at the middle of space. Something was almost talking to her that nobody else could see you hear. She only rpeated one word. “Experiment.” Then she seemed to snap out of it and sat up. “Why am I sitting down Mira? And Claire are you okay?”
"I can't pick you back up and…It's a long story"
App was confused. Then she remembered. “Oh! That’s right! You’re arm! You said you can’t feel it?” She stood up quickly.
