Celci just happened to be doin a night patrol all on her own, she noticed two boys walking along some sort of a shortcut that lead towards the mafia bases. "what are you boys doing around here hm?" she stopped behind them.

They turned, Talon cursing under his breath. Reed slightly tapped his shoulder in warning. Then he said casually, “Just taking an evening stroll, officer. No need to worry about us.” He accidentally yawned again, and he quickly covered his mouth.

she raised her brow at his yawn but say anything about it. "Heading home?" she asked them.

“Yeah, we know where we’re going.” He watched her carefully, trying to see if she was armed. Talon took a shuddery drag from his cigarette. Reed suddenly realized how suspicious they looked, even if it was just Talon smoking and Reed’s messenger bag.

He wouldnt be able to tell if she was armed or not bc she kept her gun underneath a layer of clothing incase she needed a concealed carry. "this is a dangerous neighbourhood allo me to escort you boys home."

Reed huffed. “I just said, we know where we’re going.”
With his cigarette in his mouth, Talon reached for his phone. Then taking it out, he said, “How ‘bout I just call my dad and he can pick us up?”
A split second of confusion before Reed got it. Quickly improvising, he morphed his expression to one of disappointment.
“Aw alright. I just wanted to enjoy a stroll in the sunset.” he shrugged, putting his hands in his pockets.

"You guys mind if i wait with you until he gets here? I cant stand the thought of leaving you boys alone when its prime time for the mafia's to do stuff. You two could get seriously damaged if your not careful."

“…No, we don’t mind.” Was this woman really onto them? She couldn’t have been older than he was. Still, best not underestimate her.
Talon went a few steps out of earshot. He punched in Dustin’s number and waited.

"Great." She pulled out her phone texted something and then put it away. she looked all around where they were for somethin.her hand hovering next a certain spot multiple times.

Dustin picked up the phone. "Yes?"

Talon responded a little loudly, “Hey dad! Do mind picking me and… Oliver up?”
Still watching the police officer, Reed silently pleaded she hadn’t called for reinforcements.

Celci noticed his hesitation but said nothing.

"wtf-" there was a large sigh. "Dont tell me you guys stayed out to watch the sunest again, you know that neighborhood is dangerous. Im on my way now." He responded.

“Thanks! We’re a few blocks away from the apartment.” Talon tried to pause for effect. “Okay, yes sir. Love you too.” Then he hung up.

Dustin hung up as well. what in the heck was that all about it. He got in his car and drove to where they were and apparently he ould have to play dad to whoever they were acting for. he was not looking forward to this one bit.

"What did your dad say? is he on his way?" celci turned and asked the kid hanging up the call.

“He’s comin’,” Talon replied. He trudged back to Reed’s side.
It was totally randomly and a little unnecessary, but it popped into Reed’s head and he needed to say it.
“What, are supposed to say, ‘Don’t shoot! Black lives matter!’ now?” He blurted, surprising himself by laughing a little, albeit nervously.

"I dont shoot kids?" she was very confused, like that didn't process at all.

Dusin pulled up and cursed seeing the police officer, he put on a pair of shades and roller down the window. "Hi officer, thank you for watching my boys, I swear they would get into so much trouble otherwise. Boys get in the car. oh and your grounded." he was pretty mad at them.

"Dont be too harsh on them sir, and you folks have a goodnight." she justs tood there
