"No… you don't have to," Venus wiped a tear away, but only succeeded in smearing the paint around more. She cry-laugh-hiccupped at the sickening green-red-brown mixture on her hand. Her hair was speckled with the red paint and brown and black swirled around on her shirt. "It's my fault (hic) you guys. (sniffle) I'm (hic) sorry. I put the (hic) paints away but (sniffle) didn't lock the (hic) cabinet. S-(hic) Sorry."
