Other: (depressing) So, his mother and twin brother, Claus, died, and his father just kind of left, so Lucas was put into the foster system just a few months ago. He's very withdrawn and quiet, and honestly still in shock from the whole thing, but he's very sweet once he opens up to someone who earns his trust. He's a bit of a crybaby and never wants to disappoint anyone, so he tries to avoid making decisions. Sunflowers were his mother's favorite flower, so he likes them, and she gave him the stuffed dog that he carries everywhere. Lucas has fluffy/spiked blond hair, bright blue eyes, and typically wears a yellow and red striped shirt and jean shorts

Lucas had been out in the forest for hours, sitting beneath his favorite willow tree in silence as he was visited by stray fawns and such. He clutched his stuffed dog firmly to his chest with one arm and tugged curiously at a branch of the weeping willow with the other. It suddenly occurred to him that he hadn't eaten or told his adoptive mother where he was as his stomach growled, but he stayed put.

Jessica was sound asleep in bed and she hadn't planned on waking up untill one of the kids summoned her.

I really should go back… she might be worried. Lucas stood up and looked around, realizing that he hadn't been paying attention to where he was going. Where am I? "Jessica?" He called out nervously, revolving slowly to look for something he recognized. "Jessica?"

Jessica could not hear her adopted son and stayed in bed.

"H-Hello?" Lucas started walking quickly in the direction he thought was correct. He spotted a corner of the house's roof and broke into a run, but tripped over a root and tumbled to the ground. He stumbled to his feet shakily, looking up at the house. "Jessica?"

Jessica could not hear Lucas because of the distance between the two.

Lucas neared the house again and managed to find the door. He knocked on it as forcefully as he could, which wasn't very, and called out Jessica's name again. Am I stuck out here? How long have I been out?

This time jessica heard lucas. It took a moment for Jessica to process what was going on. once she figured it out she threw her covers off and rushed downstairs and opened the front door pulling Lucas inside knowing where he had went. Jessica sighed "Lucas I've told you a million times to not wander off from the house without me" Jessica said sliightly raising her voice.

"S-Sorry… I didn't mean to be gone so long. I… I-I got lost." Lucas said quietly, shying away from Jessica. He didn't like when she raised her voice because it meant she was upset with him. His knee stung from where he'd scraped it when he fell, but he just ignored it and clutched his stuffed dog tighter.

Jessica sighed "run up to your room while I make omlettes" she said.

"Yes, ma'am…" Lucas did as he was told and grabbed a couple bandaids on his way up. He sat on his bed and clumsily attempted to patch up his knee, using three crooked bandaids to cover the scrape. That'll just have to do…

Jessica went to the kitchen and started working on Lucas's omlette.
