Who is the new kid anyhow? Is it Qxeen?//
(Yes.)
Slyvastor set the cup down. “You sell… drugs? Are you insane?” That was a funny question, coming from him. “You could get in serious trouble! Why are you selling it?”
Lake shot him a desperate look. "It's not like I want to, but it makes good money, …and my dad needs that money right now." Lake sat down heavily and buried her face in her hands, whispering, "Or else my sister won't ever have a chance of getting better…" She started quietly shaking with sobs.
Slyvastor moved over a little so she could sit comfortably. “There has to be another way… do you want me to help?” He put a free hand on her shoulder. “I can help, if you need it…”
Lake took a deep breath and removed her hands. "I don't think there's any way you can help. The only way would get you into an insane amount of risk, and you could get thrown in jail. I would never do that to someone though." She looked at him, her face wet with saltwater. "No body can help me."
Slyvastor gave her a worried look and took her arm softly in his hands. “I have to be able to help somehow. I could get a job? And give you the money? It would help a little, I think.”
"Lake, Slyvastor! Where are you? I need help with dinner." Tom yelled.
Kris runs back to the kitchen with the box of granola bars and puts them down on the counter, then grabs a handful and runs full sprint to his room.
Keri walked inside after Hunter almost murdered her and grabbed her phone from where she left it on the couch, she then walked upstairs slowly and checked her phone again.
Lake leaned against the table and shut her eyes, exhausted. “No. This is my issue, and this is the way I’m trying to resolve it. I won’t let anyone help me when they have no reason to.” She opened her eyes again and stared at some dried purple leaves hanging above her. “No one should help a crook. I’ve been at this for a while. Hopefully I’ll pull through and continue to get my sister the treatment she needs.” She turned to Sylvastor and gives a dry smile. “As long as my Dad doesn’t find out where I really get the money, we’ll be good.” She grabs another mug and put some green/brown powder in and cold water. She stirs it and takes a sip. A blissful smile spreads across her face as her eyes lids flutter to half closed. “That’s the good stuff…”
Slyvastor adjusted his grip on her arm. “You’re… you’re not a crook to me, Lake.” He shook his head a little, unsure of her response. She probably didn’t like him like that, but he couldn’t stop himself from saying that.
(Is shipping allowed here? If so, do you wanna ship our characters, Whisper?)
(Hell yeah!)
(YAS)
Lake chuckled, “Oh? Then what am I to you? If not a crook, how about a psycho?” She drank the liquid again that was making everything hazy, and loosening her tongue. “Good girls are just bad girls who don’t get caught!” She sang.
Slyvastor gazed at her fretfully. “You’re not a psycho, either. I’m probably the most crazy between us two.” He gave a slight smile. “Er… good girls… are girls that don’t get caught?” This sounded most unlike her. “Are you okay?”
She giggled again as she took another sip. She gave a thumbs up. “Never better!” She started to sing, slightly off tune, “
Oh,
The taste of your lips
I'm on a ride
You're toxic I'm slippin' under
With a taste of a poison paradise
I'm addicted to you
Don't you know that you're toxic?
And I love what-“ she broke off in giggles, thankful for her mixture. It took the edge off of her harsh reality.
Slyvastor carefully took the cup from her. “Er… I think that’s enough of that, Lake…” He set the cup down away from her.
Who is the new kid anyhow? Is it Qxeen?//
(hai, srry. Idk how to jump in, halp)
(ummmm you could just walk up to the door and knock…. or something like that…)
Lake whimpered and reached as the cup was drawn away from her. “I didn’t finish that..!” Her head drooped onto his shoulder. She looked up at him pitifully. “Please..?”
(idk, I'll try)
Carter was talking to her twin brother, Jeremiah, on her phone while walking towards where ever she was supposed to go. She was trying to tell her brother she had to stop talking with him but he wouldn't let her, she sighed and turned off her phone. She kept walking around aimlessly for a few more minutes until she found where she was supposed to be. She walked up to the door and gently knocked on it, not sure what to expect.
Keri heard a knock on the door and screamed "i'll get it!" she ran up the stairs and threw her phone in her room before jumping down the stairs and running to the door, opening it slowly with a smile "hi,"
Slyvastor gave her a worried look. “No, I think you’ve had enough.” He simpered at her begging look. “S-sorry.”
