Inwardly, Thomas sighed. why didn't they search Teddy and remove his jewelry before he came in?! The boy slid the plate and plastic utensil through the flap, "A gesture of goodwill," he said simply, "Don't do anything stupid with those metals," he suggested, leaning against the wall
"Why would I? Like I said before, it's comfy here." Teddy said as he made the metal pick up the blate and bring it over towards him. "Thanks, by the way."
Thomas nodded, "You're welcome," he noticed the metalbending and cocked his head, "Tell me about your powers. Pure curiosity, I promise"
"No thanks. I'm a mage and that's all you need to know." Teddy said with a noticeably guarded smile. Teddy was a sunshine boy, not an idiot.
Thomas chuckled, "Okay then, Merlin," he quipped, "Enjoy your meal," he waved a hand and walked off
"Sure thing, dragon boy." Teddy said with a small chuckle as he spooned a small portion of the food into his mouth.
Thomas heard the remark and laughed quietly as he closed the prison door, walking to where the rest of the Avengers were chillin'
sorry. I'm not on much. Um, a couple of weeks maybe?//
Sure, should they have become friends?//
yeah okay. But he's still in the cell because Tony's a dbag//
K, ya wanna start again?/
okay no problem//
Thomas walked into the prison, a buttered croissant in his hand. He went to the correct cell and pressed the buttons on the side that caused the door to slide open. With a smile, he walked in, the door closing behind him (Dont worry, Jarvis memorizes biometrics so he can get back out XD), "Morning, Ted," he said, "Brought you something fresh from the kitchen"
"Hello! Do I smell a croissant?" Teddy asks from his spot on the floor, his legs up against the wall. "Oh and good morning to you too!" He said with a wave as he pushed his legs off the wall so he could get up off the floor.
Thomas smiled and broke the croissant in half, handing one over, "Wish I could bring you a side of freedom as well but Tony's being a bit of a douche," he admitted, sitting down and taking a bite of his half
"As usual." Teddy snorted, grabbing the croissssssssssssssssant and shoving it in his mouth, his manners as shitty as when he was born. "So how are you dragon boy?"
Thomas chuckled, finishing his off with a few swift bites, "Alright," he said, "Wishing I could stretch my wings, but after the whole Sokovia shit, Tony's keeping us locked in here," he sighed and spread his wings slightly in the small space, "What about you, Teddy Bear?" he teased
"What about the Sokovia shit? You realize I've been in here for weeks, I have no clue what goes on in the real world." Teddy retorted with a smirk, the little glob of melted metal near Teddy's head as always.
Whoops continuity error with Thomas' backstory. We love that. Um instead its the, uh…………. London shit. There we go//
Thomas looked over, "That's right, sorry," he said, "Basically we went out to London because there were reports of someone or somthing out there that could move shit with their mind. We got there and it was complete chaos, the city was being destroyed. But there was no source. Now we're being blamed for the destruction of one of the most iconic cities in the world," he sighed and ran a hand through his blonde hair, "We still haven't found the source"
"Did y'all at least begin to help rebuild the city?" Teddy asked, he didn't comment on the fact that the Avengers were being blamed for the destruction. That is essential to his backstory, maybe.
Thomas shook his head, "They won't let us. They said we've done enough. Damage Control is handling it," he leaned his head back against the wall, looking at the cameras with curiosity
"If you let me out, I could help? I've been storing up magic…" Teddy offered, raising his eyebrow as he waited for a response from his friend.
Thomas opened his mouth to answer with the usual bullshit, then closed it again. He really did feel bad about what happened in London, it hit home from what happened to him in Sokovia. Biting his lip, the boy stood, "The answer is no, as always, Ted," he turned his back to the camera, stretching his wings out to block the view as he mouthed, "Watch for when the cameras go out," before turning and leaving. Once out, he made his way to the camera room and flicked a few choice ones off, willing Teddy to hurry so he could flick them on before anyone noticed
"Yeet." Teddy whispered as he melted off all his metal and used his magic to push up it into the wall, creating a sizeable hole in the wall. He raced out of the cell and formed his metal into a disk to ride on.
Thomas flipped on the cameras again and walked down to meet him, "We'll need to leave before anyone notices," he said, pressing a small, flat disk to his chest that caused a tight longsleeve blue and silver shirt to melt onto his torso, leaving his wings free
"Come on nerd. I have a getaway." Teddy says with a huge smile, spreading out the metal so he could place a bag down. "We don't want stark to come do we?"
Thomas chuckled and shook his head, "Okay explain to me what this is, cuz I was just thinking I'd fly us out of here but now my interest is firmly piqued"
"It's metal of course, why do you think I have so many piercings and wear so much jewelry?" Teddy asks with an evil grin as Lex realizes that they enjoy writing villains way too much.
