Allyanna looked around. "Hide if someone else opens the door- I will call out when I get home- don't touch anything if you don't have to… I'll try to ask around about the patterns for you, but I might not find out much. Do you have any questions?"

@korixkj

She shook her head negatively. "I'm good. I might page you to figure some stuff out though" She replied

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Allyanna nodded. "Alright. I may be able to call you if you do not need me immediately, let me just… "
She fiddled with the screen, then pointed to two different buttons. "This one will send an alert if you need me to get back here, and this one will call me if you need to talk but don't need me to come back."

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Allyanna nodded. "And if it is not urgent, just something you want to ask me when I get home, feel free to write the question down. I will answer to the best of my ability." She said, as she left out of another door.

More screens were on now, words in the alien language showing. None of them had been left floating, and the only things understood by the human would be the lines on the heart monitor, showing a mostly steady heartbeat.

@korixkj

Al got up and immediately began exploring the ship. She looked around, still not touching anything, but closely examining everything

@korixkj

(It definitely is, but it probably looks somewhat like a ship to Al. I picture something super clean and technological)

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

((yes, it would be).
There were screens almost everywhere. Most were off, some were showing numbers or letters, and one or two showed video feeds of the wreckage, seemingly news feeds. There was paper in various places around the room, scrawled writing in pen. It looked messier than the printed writing.

@korixkj

Al continued looking around before returning to the screens displaying her wreckage, trying to make out as much as she could about it

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

The ship was burning, the flames vaguely purple. There was a clear path where Al could have gotten clear of the wreckage, but no evidence that she had. Allyanna, seemingly, had not left any indication All had survived. And any remains that had been in there were burnt at this point

@korixkj

She stood, frozen and somewhat horrified as she watched her ship burn and dissolve in a flame color she'd never seen before. There was no proof she'd survived, so hopefully they assumed she hadn't. She couldn't understand what the news reporters were saying anyway

@korixkj

She waited a bit before slowly reaching out and unmuting it, hoping desperately it would tell her something

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

The sound crackled to life, the translator taking a second to catch up. "No evidence anything survived. Still, if you see a strange creature, probably similar to our own based on findings from the drones we sent in, report immediately. It could be hostile or violent. It seems to have come from several galaxies away, possibly the Quartz galaxy or the Jasper galaxy. Ones we have not explored yet, but have found. It is also possible it came from the rumored {Garnet, Milky Way} Galaxy, though our astrologists still have not found evidence that it exists."

@korixkj

Al released a breath of relief she was unaware she was holding. Were they looking for her? Yes, but they didn't expect to find anything. They weren't even certain her galaxy existed.. wait. What galaxy was she in?

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

The news show gave off a few more warnings about the dangerous creature that is probably dead, before switching to a scientifical segment about the other planets that might have the capacity for life but haven't been explored yet. It was fairly boring, even with the translator there were a lot of words that a normal human wouldn't know, sciencey stuff. Some words didn't go through the translator at all, apparently English didn't have words comparable to them.

@korixkj

She cocked an eyebrow and meandered elsewhere, examining other items in her surroundings

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

There were a fair amount of pen holders, each completely full of pens. Upon closer inspection of the room, Al would be able to see pens that had gotten lost- between furniture, under papers, anywhere that Allyanna couldn't immediately see. She seemed to be a neat freak, based on the screens and placement of the small amount of furnature and the cleanliness of the visible space, but she was also seemingly good at loosing things.
There were also several doors around the room, but all of them were closed. One led to Allyanna's bedroom, one to the kitchen, but Al wouldn't know if there were hallways in between.

@korixkj

Al was bored and decided it wouldn't hurt to help her find some things. She went around the room and began collecting all of the lost pens, being remarkably good at finding usually obscure items.

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

There were… A lot of them. There didn't seem to be anything else lost, just pens. Either Allyanna had very bad luck when it came to pens, was cursed, or just didn't look for them when she couldn't immediately find it. Which would make sense if she was regularly writing things that were very important and hard to remember. Potentially such as medications, if the medications had similar names. Or maybe she just had a bad memory and needed to get anything she was writing written down before she forgot, and any distraction -such as finding a pen- might lead to her forgetting.

@korixkj

She had collected so many pens she had begun setting piles on the nearby table and going back. She didn't mind, as it gave her something to do. It also entirely checked out considering she was a doctor. Al figured the demand on medical professionals couldn't be much different anywhere

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Eventually, there were no pens left to find in the room. There were so many, collecting them took hours. The piles covered most of the table. It was incredible how many pens had been lost in just this room. The doors remained closed, the wireless vital monitors continued working, and news station on the screen continued playing.

@korixkj

Al looked over the massive assortment of pens she'd collected and wondered when Allyana would be back. she sat down on the couch, mindlessly watching whatever was on one of the screen, not that she could understand most of it, as the translator didn't catch many words

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

It was still a news show, not very interesting. The food Allyanna had left was still on the table, at looked pretty edible. It smelled good as well. There was also a cup of water. This room seems to be where Allyanna did most work at home, doubling as a guest bedroom, as far as Al could tell. There wasn't really anything else of note in the room.

@Korrin

She got up and meandered over to the food and water Allyana had set out for her. she took a small bit of the food and tried it. It was good, tasted different than what she was used to, but not bad

@Korrin

(yes, please T-T. Al can only do so much w alien equipment without accidentally burning the entire place down)
