(Alright, we'll add our parts and you can pick back up when your ready (: )
Simon and Al both smiled, finishing the sorting of the groups items. The bulk of things that were brought went into their respective rooms anyway.
Simon shut the door behind him, beginning to unpack his things, consisting mostly of clothes, first Aid, and weapons. Allanah did the same in her own room, smiling at Chris. "Learn any new tricks?" She asked brightly as she tucked her favored weapon, a hatchet she took on all her missions, beside her bed, handle up as to give it the appearance of a baseball bat at first glance, which Simon actually had.
(apologies, I was also asleep-)
Laural had weapons, of course, but they were just as much for self defense against humans as they were for monsters. She had pepper spray, a meteor bracelet that could be used as a flail, and a small knife. Ama had a slingshot with several types of ammo. Silver marbles, small stones, and hollow ceramic bubbles. Laural stuck most of them in a drawer, but her pepper spray stayed under her pillow.
Joseph unpacked his stuff, unlike the others, he carried a pistol tucked against his back, hidden. But he set it in the nightstand drawer, he didnt use it unless someone's life was in danger, but liked to keep it within reach.
Chris smiled a bit and pulled out a special deck of cards he had been working on, he handed one to Al. They looked normal enough, but the edges were lined with a light, yet sharp metal. "If I had a target, I'd show you what I can do" he had been practicing with them for months, not that anyone knew, as he didnt want to tell nor show anyone until he mastered it.
Simon laid down after setting his steel Louisville slugger beside his bed. He looked up at the ceiling with his hand beneath his head. That'd been a long drive.
Al took the cards with a raised eyebrow. "Oh really?" She hummed as examined the deck. She immediately cut her thumb on the edge and smirked, looking back up at Chris. "I can imagine, man"
Laural quicky fell asleep, breathing lightly and deeply. Ama hadn't stirred, still fast asleep.
Joseph sat down on his bed with his back against the headboard and his arms crossed loosely, sure he could be social and stuff when needed, but behind closed doors he liked to relax in silence, besides, he had no plans to sleep.
Chris frowned and pulled a band-aid out of his pocket to hand to her, "I sometimes grab the wrong deck and cut myself" he explained as to why he had them in his pocket, putting the cards up and climbing into bed.
Simon fell asleep quickly. The time spent between him and Joseph was always comfortable, whether they were conversating or sitting in silence.
Al's smirk softened into a gentle smile as she took the band-aid. Chirs was always one of the first to worry about her well-being, generally before she did. She took the band-aid and applied it. "Thanks." She replied. "Show me a trick" She asked. She loved his magic tricks
(I'm going to wait to reply, as both my characters are asleep and you two still have something going on.)
(alright. Casey, if you want we can stop narrating Joseph and Simon until Chris and Al's interaction is over?)
Chris smiled softly and showed her some card tricks, most of which used a slight of hand like skill, he sat on his bed as he did, he had a few decks of cards he kept on him. "Think we should head to sleep soon? Lots to do tomorrow"
"Yeah, for sure" she murmured, lying down on her stomach, her head resting on her crossed arms as she watched him "Just wanted to see a trick" she said with a soft smile as she pulled the chain on her bedside lamp
(time skip to morning?)
(Im down)
(go for it)
Ama woke first, searching through the drawers, getting dressed and grabbing a backpack and her slingshot. She checked Laural's phone to see if the others had texted. They hadn't, probably still asleep. Laural knew better than to wander off on her own, or to wake Laural up, but she was so bored. She sat on her bed, swinging her legs, waiting for someone else to wake up.
Joseph was sitting up, having not slept, nor moved all night.
Chris woke up to his phone vibrating, his alarm. He turned it off and went to get a quick shower.
Simon stirred and rolled over, giving Joseph a small, sleepy smile. "G'morning.." She murmured
Al woke about 20 minutes before Chris's alarm went off. She was tying her combat boots on her bed, and looked up when the alarm sounded
Laural woke up late, got dressed, and gathered her things for the day. Ama rushed outside before Laural, knocking on the other two doors, bumping into a tall, pale girl with light blonde hair and dark brown eyes, who yelped lightly.
"Ack! I'm sorry!" Ama said, stopping.
The girl smiled.."It's alright, it was an accident."
She said, before walking into the main building. She seemed to work at the motel.
Joseph smiled back, and got up from the bed, getting his clothes out for the day with a yawn, he was used to not sleeping though.
Chris took a quick shower and then grabbed his laptop and bag, said bag had notebooks in it that he used for notes and stuff, making sure he had his cards too. "Breakfast?"
Simon groggily dragged himself out of bed. He was always a sleepy guy in the morning, not getting his hyper energy until about 10 am
Al smiled at her friend as she stood, grabbing her backpack, which contained first aid, survival supplies, and a few weapons, including her hatchet "Sure, why not"
Ama, waiting outside, looked after the girl she had bumped into. She was really just looking at something, the girl had just been the last thing to draw her attention. Laural came out soon after, waiting for others to come out.
Joseph got dressed, not really caring that Simon was right there, and then put his gun in his waistband where he keeps it, pausing at the door as he waits for Simon to be ready.
Chris smiles back and leaves the room, making sure the door is locked behind them, slightly paranoid that someone might go through his stuff.
Simon was immediately distracted from his task but managed to pull himself together before Joseph noticed. He also couldn't care less about the other boy's presence, getting dressed himself. He threw on his shoes and grabbed his bag. He then clipped his rather large switchblade to his hip, concealed by his red windbreaker as he walked over to Joseph
Al left the room a bit before Chris, knowing he would do his routine check of the lock. She waited patiently for her friend, smiling at Ama
Ama smiled back. "There was a nice girl! She was about your age, looked like she worked here. We should say hi! She went into the main building."
Joseph opened the door for Simon with a smile, following him out and closing the door behind himself.
Chris went to the other doors and made sure they were locked before going over to the group, where he repeated what he had asked Al. "Breakfast?"
Simon smiled back at Joseph, heading out the door and waiting for him before approaching the others. "Sure." he replied with a shrug to Chris's question.
Al smiled down at Ama "Maybe we'll see the girl, if you think she works here"
Laural frowned at Ama. "We shouldn't bother her if she's working. But if she says hi first, you can talk to her, okay?"
Ama nodded, following the group to the main building for breakfast. The girl she had seen earlier was sweeping the floor off to the side, earbuds in, not looking up.
