"so, what do you want to do?"

"Dunno. Wanna try doing human things!"

"human things? like what?"

"I don't know what humans do.." he said, shrugging

"Well, I don't do what most humans do" he shrugged.

"Hmm…." He said, shrugging.

"i just sleep, go to work, and tend to my collection"

"I sleep and protect and gather food, so…"

"not much different"

He shrugged. "I just sleep when I want to have fun usually.. or explore and look at all the human houses."

"you should be careful, most humans are not like me"

"I am careful! Not my fault you were awake." He pouts.

"are you not happy to have met me?"

"What? No, I am! I just mean that it's not my fault, and I'm usually careful."

"Its alright, I am glad we met"

"I'm glad we met too."

Nikias yawned, "I think we will make good friends"

"You should sleep for a bit. You seem sleepy."

"Ill wait for you to sleep"

"no, it's okay. You need to sleep now." He said stubbornly

"What will you do?"

"Watch? Or I'll sit outside and draw in the dirt." He said, shrugging.

"That doesnt seem very fun"

"It's what I do." He said, shrugging again.

"Oh. Id rather not sleep while your awake, I dont want anything to happen to you"

"Nothing will happen! I've lived without you for…. Too many moons to count."

"I dont think id be able to sleep anyway"

"But you're tired." Ash said, confused.
