"Ha! Nice try!" Frank pulled a small flashlight from his butterfly-hunting vest and clicked it on. "I'm prepared for anything."

Home makes a frustrated noise.

Frank made his way to the door to the basement and tried the doorknob. It was locked. Of course.

Via's cloud of heavy air was past the basement, although reality shifting stayed in the basement.

Luca heard the basement door and tried screaming again.

Frank remembered a random lockpicking set that Barnaby had jokingly given them, and went to leave Home to go get it, but found the front door locked too.

(heheheheh)

Home seemed to now be amused by this, creaking softly.

Via was still panicking. it was starting to warp Home as well. Somebody should give her a hug, or wrap something tightly around her.

Frank turned around and ran at the basement door again, and shoved his weight against it as hard as he could

Luca manages to wiggle one hand free from the bonds, taking his blindfold and gag off. He looks around, then unties his other hand. “HELP!” He screams.

The door didn’t budge.

"It's okay, Luca, I'm coming!" Frank shouted, then continued to struggle with the door

The door still doesn’t move an inch.

Luca looks around, “Sally?! Via?!”

Sally, of course, couldn't speak since she is unconscious. However, her breathing could be heard if it was really quiet.

Frank was starting to panic. The door wasn't opening, three of their friends were stuck in the basement, and he had no way to know if they were okay or not.

Via didn't respond. Where did wally go?

Luca rushes to the basement door, attempting to open it. He screams in frustration as it doesn’t move an inch.

Frank looked around the room for anything that he could use to open the door, and then got an idea. "I need you to move away from the door, I'm gonna use some sort of battering ram."

Luca takes a moment. “Try a card!” He digs in his hair, finding a hair pin.

"Oh- I've never done that before, how does it work?"

“AUGH! Get a card that isn’t paper and slide it under the door! I’ll do it!”

"Alright-" Frank pulled a card from their pocket and slid it under the door. "Does that work?"

Luca looks at it. “Yeah.” He picks it up and slides it where the lock was. Home went silent, then seemed to growl as the door clicked open.

Frank yanked open the door and shone the flashlight down the stairs. "Are the others down here?"
