Cyrin was tapping his foot lightly, debating getting up and dancing. He knew he wouldn’t look like a fool, but still. He wondered why he even decided to come to the party, he never went to parties. They were fun, yes, but the music, all he would do at them would be dance, and he spent plenty of time dancing already.
He casts his gaze about, quiet and staying in one spot, but he could feel it coming. The urge to dance every time he heard music.
Adam unenthusiastically kept flirting with the girl- He thought her name was Jackie or something, he didn't remember. He wanted to get out and actually party, not whatever this was.
Cyrin sighs softly, moving away from the wall, moving between people like water, and just as fluidly as well. Eventually he found a space big enough for him and started dancing. He threw years of money and training out the window and just danced, mixing the three different forms he had learned. He knew eventually people would notice, but he didn't particularly care. the point of a party was to have fun. And he was doing that.
Eventually the girl noticed that Adam wasn't interested and left, so he was free to look around the room. More people had showed up since the last time he had looked around. (Sorry I haven't responded in a while, I was at my mom's.)
(It’s fine. I have to go for now. But I’ll reply I’m about 45 min)
(. . . I won’t- just feeding and walking my dog)
Cyrin keeps dancing, closing his eyes and ignoring the people around him.
He noticed a guy dancing sort of near him, and couldn't help but notice how he was seemingly detached from the world, yet inexplicably still one with it.
Cyrin tips his head back slightly, smiling softly. God, he loved dancing. It was life. He opens his eyes for a moment, listening to the music, humming along slightly.
Adam decided to go over and just… I don't know, exist near the guy. There was something about him that was just… captivating.
Cyrin keeps dancing, ignoring everything around him. Humming along to the music, and dancing in time with the beat, something a lot of the people around him couldn’t really do.
Adam was debating talking to him, but couldn't decide whether or not it would be worth the embarrassment that would happen if he turned out to be straight.
Cyrin feels someone watching him and opens his eyes again, looking at Adam. He raises an eyebrow, laughing softly and motioning him over.
Adam blushed slightly, and walked over before he could convince himself not to. "Hey," He said, just kind of… standing there.
Cyrin stills after a moment, “Hey. I could feel you staring at me from a mile away, what’s up?” He asks, smiling slightly. Yes, he was used to people watching, but not staring. There was a difference.
Screw it, He thought, You never know unless you go for it.
"I just think you're cute, that's all."
Cyrin laughs, tipping his head back, “Ahh, well, I know.” He smiles at the other guy, “You’re cute too.”
Adam froze, blushing. He was not expecting him to flirt back. "Oh, um- Thanks"
Cyrin laughs, “Not expecting that, were you?” He starts dancing again, just moving his hips slightly so to keep better eye contact with the other guy in front of him.
"No, not really." Adam smiled nervously. "All of the guys I'm into are straight."
Cyrin laughs softly, “People tend to like the things they can’t have.” Cyrin flashes a grin, “But just because I’m flirting, don’t mean I’m gay, after all, weren’t you just flirting with that girl?” Cyrin decided to throw a loop in, because why not? Cyrin was in the mood for teasing and flirting.
Adam frowned. "Oh…" He looked around, avoiding eye contact. "Well, I'm bi, so… yeah…" He cleared his throat awkwardly.
Cyrin hums, “Didn’t seem crazy interested in her though. And don’t worry, I’m gay.” He flashes a grin.
"Wait, really?" He blushed. Then he remembered that he had come over here to flirt, and flirt he would.
Cyrin rolls his eyes, “Nooo, I’m going to lie to you, be straight and pretend to be somewhat into you.” He laughs, “Yes, really.”
"So you are into me?" He smirked
Cyrin shrugs, “You’re cute, like I said.”
"Well, thank you for stating that very obvious fact." Adam grinned.
Cyrin laughs softly, “Hmm. . .” He looks Adam over once and then looks back to his face, “Obvious indeed.” He mutters with a grin.
