He rolls his eyes, “Two were on my fathers side and the other three were on my moms side-“ he smirks.

Cole shakes his head. "Still." He looks around and notices the darkening skyline. "Schist, Kathy? Do you have a base point yet?"
He scoffs, standing. “Follow me.” He starts walking.
Cole does so, trailing behind the behemoth like a shadow.
He leads him to this clearing, the sun shining onto the green grass. Kathy grumbles. “Well looks like this is the chosen meeting place.” He rolls his eyes. “Wanted to go home!” he calls out.
"I…don't understand?" It looks like Kathy's talking to thin air. "What's the meeting place for? Who else is here?"
Kathy huffs. “Just you and me for now.” He plops down. “Anyways. What about your family?”
"Mine? I've got just two - Dad and Ree." Cole leans against a tree. "I'd do about anything to protect them."
Kathy smiles. “Hm…makes sense…”
"Yeah? How?"
(Also I have several RPs that I just started, you're welcome to check them out! The names are *Silent as a Tomb *Screams and Thrills *Through the Foggy Forest *Truth or Dare Chat *All Aboard!)
Oh fun! Ima go check those out!
Kathy hums, “i would have done anything to prevent my father from getting in a car crash…”
“I’m sorry.” Cole looks away.
Kathy shrugs. “Eh I was like- what 15? Its fine.”
That sort of thing was traumatizing but Cole wasn't gonna say that. "Alright. Do you have anything to eat?"
He nods, handing her a bag. “Here ya go.”
Cole roots around in the bag and finds a simple meal of chicken, crackers, an apple, and water. "Thanks."
Kathy nods. “No prob.” He leans back on his elbows.
Cole digs into the meager meal; it's gone within the next twenty minutes. He folds the bag and puts it in his pocket. "So now what?"
Kathy shrugs. “Get to know each other?” He suggests.
(Sry 4 late reply!) Cole takes a bite of his apple. "So then, what's your favorite thing about your life?"
(Its ok you can take however long you want!)
He laughs, “Ah I wouldn’t say thing. More of person. And thats my ‘brother’ and the rest of my chosen family. My life sucks but they make it bearable.”
"Oh I feel that. As long as I've got my loved ones, then everything else can go to hell in a hand basket for all I care."
He chuckles. “Preach.”
Cole smiles. It feels nice to make people laugh. "Now it's your turn to ask me something."
He hums, “hobbies?”
"Reading psychology books, people-watching, urban exploration, talking with my loved ones…" Cole looks up. "Writing poetry and doing parkour too."
Kathy laughs, “aye i do parkour. To run from the cops-“
"Exactly! And scale up buildings to get the best views!"
“Yess!!” Kathy smiles, “and to catch a runner!”
