“In pain” he whined

Rantaro nodded in response to the statement, not very surprised that Kokichi was in pain. He truly expected that considering what happened the previous night, but there wasn't anything that he could do at the time. If he got up, he'd certainly wake Shuichi up, and he really needed to sleep.

"That doesn't surprise me," he responded softly. "I can't do much right now, though."

“It's fine..” kokichi mumbled “the poor detective hadn't been sleeping. I was going to let him catch me just to get a nights rest..”

Rantaro wasn't really surprised when Kokichi said that he was going to let Shuichi catch him just so he could get some rest. He had already been trying to convince his boyfriend to get some sleep, but he never did. He didn't understand why he was being so stubborn, but at least he was finally asleep.

"Yeah, I can't blame you. He definitely hasn't slept in a few days. I kept telling him to, but he never listened," he responded. "No idea how he could work through such exhaustion, but hey, he's finally asleep."

Kokichi nodded and stood up, “ ill cook supper,” he said with a pained voice

Rantaro was a bit concerned when Kokichi suddenly stood up and offered to make dinner, but he couldn't really get up to stop him. He needed to stay there so Shuichi wouldn't wake up, as he could actually be a pretty light sleeper sometimes. His boyfriend really needed to sleep, so he didn't want to disturb him. He knew that he'd refuse to sleep again if he was woken up.

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" he asked softly. "I can't do much right now since Shu's cuddling with me and finally asleep, but you don't have to make yourself cook."

“ I need to do something..” he mumbled and left

Rantaro was a bit concerned when Kokichi suddenly left. What did he need to do? He wasn't going to get himself killed, right? He really hoped that he wouldn't get himself into trouble, but he was Kokichi, so that was a major possibility. Either way, he still needed to make sure that Shuichi got some sleep.

Kokichi started cooking in the kitchen, making a breakfast meal for when shuichi got up

As Kokichi was in the kitchen, Rantaro stayed with his boyfriend. He would have offered to help the other if his boyfriend wasn't busy using him as a personal body pillow, but he was, so he couldn't do much. He was just glad that his lover was finally taking care of himself, even if it did take some force. Soon he would have something to eat, too, so it would get better for him.

(Oki) kokichi finished the meal, setting it out of the table quietly

It was a couple of minutes after Kokichi finished making the food that Shuichi woke up. The detective yawned as he woke up to realize that his face was in his lover's chest. He wasn't expecting to have fallen asleep at all, so he was definitely surprised once he made the realization. He had some more energy than he previously had, but he was still rather tired at the time, so he didn't say anything or move.

Kokichi came into the bedroom “ foods done guys”

Rantaro smiled softly as he heard that the food was ready, and then he gently moved his boyfriend so he could get up. Of course, he waited for the detective to get up as well, and once he did, he took his hand and brought him to the table. Now he could actually eat something, too, since he didn't seem to that often, either, as concerning as it was.

"Thanks," Rantaro told Kokichi softly. "I'm sure that Shu will enjoy the food, too."

Kokichi nodded and went back to the bedroom to rewrap his wounds
