"So am I, Eve. There's a lesson you need to learn. Don't trust anybody. And there's things that I need to learn from you. Rest. You'll need it for the morning."

"Jona…. What are you going to do? "

Jona smirks coldly.

"Don't worry yet."

"Jona please whatever I did I'm sorry just let me go I'll move away you'll never see me again I promise. "

"I told you about the murders. Who do you think killed all those people?"

"Why me? I followed the rules I did what you told me to! "

Jona hums.

"Does a murderer need a reason, Eve? Just like everyone has a phone, do I need a reason to be cruel and deceptive?"

Eve had taken another step back until her back was greeted by the cold metal bars of the cell " your a psychopath… "

Jona smirks and disappears.

"You'll learn to enjoy that." it coos, its voice coming from behind Eve.

Eve jumped back and turned around but saw nothing " let me go asshole! "

Jona's voice was behind Eve again.

"No. I took the time to get you here. You are mine now."

"I'm not yours I don't belong to you!"

Jona reaches out and pulls Eve towards the bars of the cage.

"No, you belong with me." it says.

"Let go of me! " eve wiggled out of Jonas grasp and fell back on the floor staring up at him

Jona narrows its eyes.

"Very well." it says coldly.

"Crazy basterd! "

"And your point is?" Jona growls.

" my point is your keeping me locked in here because I belong with you! I don't belong with you your a murderer! "

"Do you believe you would do anything different, Eve, given the power and choice?" Jona asks softly.

"I'd never move here, I would never talk to you or see you, I'd never let you stay in my house! "

"No. That's not what I mean. Given the power, do you think you would do what I've done. Don't lie. It will make tomorrow worse."

"No I wouldn't. " she said staring up at him coldly

Jona smirks.

"But you wish to kill me, don't you?"

"I won't stoop to your level, I just want to go home. "

"I don't believe that, Eve."

It turns and walks away.

The next morning, Jona returns. Its illusion was no longer there, its skin its natural onyx black.

Wordlessly, Jona opens the cage, grabs Eve and puts her wrists through a set of manacles, letting her hang there while it goes to get its tools.

Eve jumped when he grabbed her and looked up at her face pale "what the hell are you?"

"Does that matter?" Jona replies as it returns.
