“ no, no you can't,”

Shuichi nodded. "I can barely keep myself awake…"

(We never narrated that they left, so now I'm just imagining other students walking in and wondering why there's someone holding another student in their arms- XD)

Kiibo walked to his dorm to lay shuichi

Shuichi looked up at him. "So…back to your dorm, then…?" he asked, just trying to start a conversation to keep himself awake.

“ yeah now try and sleep”

Shuichi decided to be quiet and focused on sleeping instead of anything else. It was only a couple of minutes before he was asleep. He was asleep a few minutes before they arrived at Kiibo's dorm, and he slept for a couple of hours after. Once a couple of hours passed, he woke up. He didn't feel much more energized since he had only slept for a couple of hours, but he felt the need to work. He had no idea that he was in someone else's dorm or that he wasn't in class until he got a look at his surroundings. The last thing he remembered was being in class. He didn't even remember collapsing.

"Um…what happened…?" he asked, not sure if anyone else was there. "Where am I…? I should be in class… Why am I here…?"

Kiibo sighed “ you fell asleep because you were exhausting yourself”

Shuichi shook his head as he sat up. "I might've gone a couple of days without sleep…or maybe about a week…but I was fine…" he argued, not remembering how bad of a state he was in earlier. "And who are you…? Why'd you bring me to your dorm…?"

“ so you could sleep”

"I must've slept…but I remember nothing…" Shuichi sighed. "Last I checked, I was in class… You had just helped me with some homework… That's the last thing I remember…"

“ yeah you passed out..”

"That explains why I remember nothing past that…" Shuichi sighed again as he stood up. He was still a bit unsteady, but he was doing better than he was earlier. "Well…I need to get back to class…"

“ easy Shuichi “

"Hey, really, I'm okay now…" Shuichi assured him, though it wasn't a very convincing argument.

Kiibo hugged Shuichi “ I worry okay?”

Shuichi nodded as he hugged Kiibo back. "I get it. I worry a lot, too, given how bad my anxiety can get. I don't mind. I just really need to get to class… I'm already behind…"

His final comment implied that school might have been the reason for his poor physical condition and horrible state of mental well-being. He didn't think much of the implication as he spoke, just stating what he felt was needed, what was truthful to the situation.

“ then I will help you, I promise”

"Well…you helped earlier, but you can't do my work for me…" Shuichi sighed softly. "I've got so many assignments to work on… Time to just deprive myself of everything to get it all done…"

The last part was said quietly, Shuichi unaware that he said it out loud rather than in his thoughts. He was used to thinking that, so he didn't realize anything unusual about the thought.

“ no! I will help you. You're not depriving your self just for school!”

"Ah…I said that out loud, huh…?" Shuichi chuckled nervously. "I…I deprive myself of everything a lot for school. It hasn't really harmed me much…"

He was so used to being in a state of weakness and exhaustion that it felt normal to him. He truly didn't feel like anything was wrong, even as he began to sway slightly as the weakness grew.

Kiibo sighed softly “ it's hurting you, please, let m help..”

Shuichi tilted his head slightly, though that was only followed by him momentarily losing balance. He caught himself before he could fall, then responding. "This is…normal for me… I-it's not that bad…is it…?"

“ It's really bad shuichi..” he said and came up to hug shuichi from behind

Shuichi didn't seem to mind the hug from behind. "I mean…I'm used to it…so I guess I just…never found it to be an issue…"

Kiibo squeezed a bit tighter “ well it's an issue now, you must take care of yourself “

Shuichi sighed softly. "How do I do that if my mind's on nothing but doing schoolwork so I don't get behind…?"

“Then.. Put your mind on me,”
