"No, silly! For the kitty!" Cayden laughs.

"Ah, right. sure, you can bring some whale to feed the kitty." Violet chuckled. "cut some off and we'll go see her."

Cayden ripped off a piece of the whale's fin, not even botehring to use a knife, then took some for himself and putthe rest in his pocket. "Let's go see the kitty!" he cheered.

Violet smiled and walked out the door. "To the kitty!"

Cayden ran after her, dodging the swinging door. “Does the kitty have a name?” he asked, eyes sparkling.

"Her name is Bella." Violet said. She opened a door that let to another hallway and walked through it. "She had kittens a little bit ago, and I've yet to name those who reman. Would you like to name them?"

"Yeah!" Cayden grins again. "How many are there? Are they cute? Can we see them too?!"

"There are six babes, they are cute, and they live with Bella, so yes. We can see them to." Violet looked back at Cayden and smiled.

"Yay!" Cayden clapped excitedly. "And then the royal donkey? And then we have the pancakes! I'm gonna name a kitty Niko! And one can be Wiffle Ball! Haha, wiffle balls make nice noises. Do you have wiffle balls here?"

"um… I don't think we have wiffle balls." Violet said and kept walking. "What are wiffle balls?"

"I don't know!" Cayden said. "I saw a picture of one once. It's a funny name. Wiffle ball. WEEffle ball. Wi-ffle ball." He laughed with every time he said "wiffle ball," apparently finding it quite funny.

"Uh huh. so I see." She opened a door and reviled a mini rain forest, filled with trees and vines. "Bella!" Violet called and a huge black panther landed before them.

"Woah!" Cayden exclaimed, looking around, not even noticing Bella until she was right in front of him. He giggled again. "Hello! Can I pet her?" he asked Violet, already reaching to do so.

"Sure." Violet said. then turned to Bella, "Be nice. he's a guest."

Cayden gently scratched Bella under her chin, giggling all the while. "She's very soft! And big! And cute!"

A servant entered the room and tapped Violet on the shoulder, and whispered something into her ear. "Seriously? Now?" The servant nodded. "Fine. Cayden, I need to take care of something. you can explore, or you can stay here. Bella is going to stay with you until I get back. Ok?"

"Okay. Are the kittens here too?" Cayden picks up a stick and throws it for Bella. "Can she fetch?"

"I don't know, teacher if she can't." The servant taped her shoulder again. "Fine! I'll see you at dinner ok. If you need anything, clap twice." Violet turned and followed the servant out of the room.

Bella purred at Cayden's touch.

Cayden waves after Violet, then turns to Bella. "Can you climb trees or swim? We could play tag! Do you know how to play tag?"

Bella mewed and nudged Cayden before cantering off into the trees playfully.

Cayden runs after her, his laughter echoing through the trees. With every step he takes, he grows a little bigger, his teeth a little longer, his eyes a little deeper, until he's six feet tall. He seems to not notice it, just keeps running and laughing. "I'm gonna get you!"

Bella ran and jumped up into a tree. then quietly went back to watch him try to find her.

Cayden watched Bella climb, then ran to the bottom of the tree, looking up. He pushed a branch out of his way, then paused. Sniffed. Again. He does this for a minute, then stops. He whirled around, eyes panning the undergrowth. "Silly Bella! Your scent stays where you are! You didn't stay long enough in the tree!"

(me picturing Cayden just walking around like he has a bad cold lmao)

Bella stuck her head up, mewed, and ran deeper into the forest.

(btw, the room is a pocket world. It literal goes on forever.)

Cayden takes off after her, dodging branches and animals alike, going faster than he should be able to, giggling all the while.

Bella looked back at the growing child and continued running. Slowly crouching down and disappearing into the undergrowth.

Cayden stopped short when he realized that he wasn't following Bella anymore. He sniffed, moving this way and that, trying to catch her scent. When he couldn't find it, he sat down and pulled out the pieces of whale he'd had in his pockets. "Do you want some?" he called into the undergrowth.

Bella stuck her head up about three meters to the left of him and slowly came over. Once she got just out of arms reach, she began to mew and purr.

"See?" Cayden hold sup the bit of whale and waves it under her nose. "Yummy yummy! You can have some!" He eats some himself and makes exaggerated happy noises.

Bella takes the chunk of whale and happily eats it. She then snuggles up to Cayden and purrs happily.
