(oooo hells yes i love this forum asdfsd;fjaf)
Hana takes a shaky breath, her eyes still averted from Natsu. “What made you want to do all this? You’ve killed six people, Natsu.” Finally, her honey brown eyes flick up to Natsu’s own ice cold gray ones. “And severely injured at least-”
next word: broken
A soft glow emanated from within and sounds reached Kado’s ears. Voices and music although it was muffled and broken by the gale.
Next word: Dream
“What? Oh, fuck, right.” Touya sighs through his nose, swiping his hand through his inky black hair. It’s a look Natsu’s still not entirely used to. In every dream of Touya he’s had in the last ten years, Touya has the stark red hair in the nightmares, soft white in the better ones. Black was never on the list. It was red or white, fire or ice, death or life. Black now seems to be the uneasy in between. The thin line drawn between it all, the line Touya seems to live now. The line that left Touya on the dead and Dabi on the barely-alive, the silver staples holding the sides together.
next word: string
The music was coming from a small group of travellers where one was languidly plucking the strings of a lyre, sometimes humming a quiet tune. The atmosphere was comfortable and sleepy almost as if it were a dream.
Next word: Shadow
The flames dance around the person, the heat having no effect on them. Their hair flies around their face like a halo from hell and a glint of a smile shines through the shadows shrouding them. Glowing fists are clasped at their sides, one glinting in blue and the other in scarlet. Their posture screams confidence and purpose, proving to anyone watching that they’re the culprit of the deadly act of arson. The helicopters circling aim their lights on the figure, illuminating their features.
next word: scowl
“It was not a compliment.” Adda’s scowl was softened by the smirk they tried to push down.
“Don’t try to deny that you have fun with us too.” Kado bumped into their side playfully. Adda rolled their eyes.
“I’ll say nothing that will enable you.”
“I don’t mind. Actions speak louder than words after all.”
Adda shoved him and they both laughed.
Next word: War
“What deity chose to bring walking chaos here? The little bastard would start another war, just to make fun of someone,”Norkhal’rokh moaned.
Next Word: Sail
“I thought you said that Ravina was the captain,” Keyla said.
“Officially it’s Garzlan,” Ravina called, as she pulled the thick rope as she tried to get the sails under control. “But sometimes the Captain is bad at making decisions, so unofficially, it’s both of us.”
Next word: Sky
The sun fell like lead through water and the dimming sky of dusk wrapped the world in shadows.
Next word: Heat
“No, I was just out on a walk.” Natsu watches the frost slowly melt in the heat of the evening sun. “I could come back if you’d want.”
next word: confusion/confused
“No,” Keran seethed. “And stop using big words to confuse me. My Craision is good. It doesn’t work.”
Next word: Heart
At least when he was numb he could pretend that he was alright. He could hide the facts underneath all the unfeelingness, keep the badness away from his heart and mind. Now, there was no hiding from the truth. Touya’s gone and the fact makes Natsu scream.
next word: child
“I wouldn’t worry about it too much though,” Ravina said, grabbing on to the rope as she began to lift off the ground. She slipped her foot through one of the loops. “Garzlan loves this boat like it’s his child.”
Next word: Silver
Natsu’s heart stutters in his chest as he takes in the villain’s face. From the soft cheekbones, to the poorly dyed black hair; the glinting silver piercings to his sharp eyes- his eyes. Time stops as steel gray eyes stare right into kaleidoscope blue.
next word: cloudy
(I don't have cloudy in particular but I have a lot of clouds)
What was once just a few lazy smoke trails was now a great black column. Fortunately, it was still dark and the smoke blended in with the gathering storm clouds overhead.
Next word: Edge
Natsu recoils from the edge of the roof. He’s coming? No- He can’t! Natsu’s spent so long avoiding Him, crafting and planning the perfect way to re-enter and wreck His life… No, it can’t all be ruined now!
next word: lead
Theon allowed Azrail to lead him to the ballroom in silence where music played and pairs danced in that stiff, orderly way that rich people do.
Next word: Flinch
Faren jogged a bit to catch up with De Tearion. He hadn’t seen De Tearion so agitated in a long time. Was it the frustration of his upcoming plans? Or did he actually flinch when that crossbowman fired his weapon?
Next Word: Rush
The girl nods, shakily getting to her feet. She stumbles over her own bare feet and Natsu’s heart lurches. All he wants to do is rush to her side. He wants to wrap his fingers around Overhaul’s neck. He wants to watch the frost reach every inch of that ridiculous purple collar.
next word: hiss
Moukib didn’t blink even as Kado held the dagger to his throat.
“And what if I cut off your limbs?” Kado hissed. “Will you survive that too?”
“I will live. Suffering but alive. It’s not the first time someone has had the idea.”
Next word: Work
He grabbed the small shaving knife and went to work trimming his beard and mane. He cut back his bangs, and shortened his hair, trimming the mess around his ears, and, finally, combing the messy hair back to a moderately brushed tangle.
Next word: Safe
Citizens blindly worship these overpowered maniacs who claim to keep them all safe from harm when they’re always doing more harm instead. They tell their children that Heroes are perfect role models for their power, looks, and goody-goody public image, but Natsu knows better. He knows what so-called Heroes do behind closed doors. He knows that they’re just as power hungry as the next, willing to break down anything and anyone to get what they want. Hell, he lived through it.
next word: Snap
But then the ship was falling, diving nose-first into the ocean below. The force threw Yara to the ground and she felt a finger snap as she struggled to hold onto the wheel.
Next word: Storm
There’s no noise that Saturday night. Not even the near constant beeping of traffic, nor the ongoing buzzing of students in the hallway outside. There’s no thumps of his rowdy neighbors upstairs. There’s no soft whirring of their air conditioning unit.
No.
It’s silent.
For a moment, Natsu feels as if he’s almost right back at the Manor, cowering in closets waiting for the silence after a storm to pass.
He can’t even hear his own breathing.
Next word: Forget
Keyla hadn’t even realized that she’d been staring at him with her mouth agape until he spoke to her.
“Sorry,” she muttered.
“Don’t forget who helped you get out of that castle,” Milo said, not even acknowledging her apology.
Next word: perfect
After changing into some pajamas, Natsu plugs in his phone on the nightstand and tucks himself into bed. He wraps his strong arms around a ragged and small teddy bear. It’s one Touya had given Natsu when he was only four or five. Dandy, he remembers with a small smile. From his horizontal position, he has a perfect view of the night sky through his window. Lights from the nearby city flicker and glow. The sky here isn’t as dark as the one back there, but it’s comforting. The light and life are just another reminder that Natsu is out of there, he’s safe.
next word: smirk
“Then sing.”
De Tearion glanced at her with detached incredulity. She managed a smirk, though it didn’t hold as more tears flooded her eyes.
“Sing… before I kiss you and regret it,”Alexandra warned. His eyebrow rose.
Next Word: Thunder
Lyris turned into the downpour with a hand shielding her eyes from the needle-like rainwater. She couldn’t see two metres in front of her. Cursing, she pushed the soldiers along. One tripped on the slick mud beneath their feet. Lyris wrenched him up and shoved him forward.
“Quickly!” Her words were lost in a crack of thunder. Lightning lit the sky and she felt its energy pulse through her blood like fire.
Next word: Thrash
(Couldn’t find Thrash, but I had Thrashing. Took way too long to find it, lol)
De Tearion teleported several feet behind the horse, not wanting to dare the might of his now thrashing legs. The saddle fell, the cut strap tearing apart. Av’ekmar calmed, though only enough to realign for another charge at De Tearion.
Next Word: Treasure
Touya glances up at the younger brother through tears. “Huh?” His eyes look kind of like those kaleidoscopes Yumi gets from her teacher’s treasure chest. The blues look all different in the irises, some hues dark as the night sky, others brighter than Natsu’s favorite jacket. Yumi was always so happy when she brought one of those home, and even let Natsu play with them from time to time. Natsu never got anything from his teacher’s treasure chest, but he supposes that’s fine. As long as his teacher isn’t mad at him or yelling at another student, Natsu’s satisfied.
