So, If anyone wants cry, listen to Anson Seabra's newest release, "Keep Your Head Up Princess". I just listened to it and, oh dear, it made me quite emotional.
Just to add some more ‘if you want to cry’ songs. The artist Cain’s Offering is nothing but two albums of heartbreak songs, but the lead singer is Timo Kotipelto from Stratovarius and I love his voice.
Edit: Unfortunately I can barely listen to Cain’s Offering because I cry every time, lol.
Some old-school favorites, because I’m bored.
Welcome to my Nightmare-Alice Cooper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUdU7IbR3K4
(This video, which is the original, is hard to find, let me tell you)
Sharp Dressed Man- ZZ Top https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7wRHBLwpASw
All My Love-Led Zeppelin https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=z0DAnu5Sq6k
Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)-Eurythmics https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qeMFqkcPYcg
Magic Carpet Ride-Steppenwolf https://youtu.be/eGkGNCUQtWY
Once again, I’m bored. So, here’s a few 10+ minute songs I love.
The Raven Child-Avantasia https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CTN2ZzpQRh4
The Piper Never Dies- Edguy https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-LrMChKn1EY
The Seven Angels- Avantasia https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kuQCeNyFr5c
(Better with context. It’s song 1 of the album Metal Opera Part 2. With the story of Metal Opera Part 1, this song makes much more sense, but it’s a great song nonetheless)
Elysium- Stratovarius https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ikDS1TBAElo
(At a lovely 18 minutes long, this is the longest one here. It’s sad though)
And Then There Was Silence- Blind Guardian https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HcRIGCmCoZA
(This one is about the Trojan War, I believe)
manta rays (acoustic) - Chloe Moriondo
new slang - The Shins
perfume - Lovejoy
losing face - wilbur (TW for explicit language)
7 o'clock - penelope scott (TW for explicit language)
these are a few i liked enough to learn on guitar :)
I've been looking for some good vibe-y songs to listen to while writing, so thank you.
