Drake had just woken up when he received the mail. He read it without any surprise. "Getting messages from Elder Gods… The last time I got messages from the Sun or Moon was a while ago. Whatever." Drake stood up. He grabbed the note and his car keys. "Goodbye, calculus…" He mumbled and started driving towards the address.

Yuli looked at his gps as he drove. Everytime he turned the wheel, he felt like he was getting closer to something extremely important. Like the gps was a map and this location was the treasure. They fiddled with their earring, entrenched in thought. These people knew about their magic, they had barely just discovered it, so these past four years hadn't been hallucinations. They breathed in and sighed. They couldn't wait to see what was at the end of this road.

When the new students got to the address, there was nothing there. It was an empty clearing with some overgrown ruins and a person leaning against said ruins. The person was obviously not human, with two sets of horns; goat horns and then two ones reaching up towards the sky. They had a content smile on their face as the sun shined down upon them.

If anything goes wrong, make sure you call us, Her mothers last minute words echoed in her mind. Odessa gripped the steering wheel hard as she turned onto a dirt road.

"If anything goes wrong?" She scoffed. "You'll be lucky if I ever call you at all." She half hope something horrible was waiting for her at this mysterious location. Some ancient race seeing to take her away for sacrifice. But the more she thought about it, the less she thought her parents would care. She sighed deeply as her GPS pinged, letting her know she was at her destination, a field of nothing and rocks…. with a singular figure lingering about.

Hesitantly, Odessa got out of her care and eyed the person. The horns and the natural spotlight definitely gave her pause. It seemed that the Sun definitely had something to do with this. But what surprised her more, was the arrival of more cars. She hadn't be the only one to receive a letter, apparently. Skepticism and excitement battled in her stomach as she watched cars park in the same location. Were these people just like her?

"What is this?" Solana wondered out loud, as she made her way into the clearing. "Some sort of bad costume party? I guess I forgot my cape." She rolled her eyes at the figure, quick golden eyes darting around to see the others arriving as well.

Another girl, around her age, had entered the ruins before her. Sol eyes her with curious amusement, and then dismissed her with a bare glance. Her confusion only grew as more people arrived, making her wonder what on earth was going on.

Why had she come here again? Something was kinda sketchy.

Tae unbuckled his seat belt and climbed out of his car, looking warily around. The address on the letter hadn't been exactly the safest place he had seen, and it was creeping him out. He locked his car and made his way to the weird ruins, where everyone else was heading.

Instead of talking, he stood in the far corner, just watching. A strange excitement pulsed in his gut, telling him that something exciting was about to happen. It was a feeling he had learned to listen to long ago, a feeling that he looked forward to; some sort of sixth sense, warning him of potential danger.

Drake stepped out of his car and stared at the goat-person. He looked around at the other cars. "Who are you?" He asked immediately. For some reason, he felt nervous asking and was nervous to hear the answer. "Are you Sun?" He continued.

The person clapped their hands, straightening up from their leaning. "That would be me, The Sun!" They giggled, smiling into their hand. "You're Drake, right? The Timekeeper has told me good things about you!" They tilted their head, looking directly into Drake's eyes with their own white out ones.

When Yuli stepped outside their car, looking around at the surrounding area, he knew there were some unknown forces at work here. Seeing the mismatched arrangement of people here simply proved it more. He heard the horned person speak and began "So what did you bring us all here for? What exactly is going to be going on here? It seems a little… empty, to be a school"

Drake nodded and smiled. "Yes, I'm Drake, and my father is the God of Time. We've met before at a Sun Festival, though it was a while ago… Nice to see you, though. It's an honor."
