"I'm not really sure but for now I guess She/They."
"I'm not really sure but for now I guess She/They."
"Mkay," Wes said, obviously growing even less nervous, as told by the changes in his tone of voice. Eventually, he just went quiet again, not sure of what to talk about now. And given that circumstance, he literally just kinda stood there silently, fiddling with various parts of his suit and avoiding eye contact with the other.
"Y-you heard the song didn't you.." I say looking down.
"I did," Wes said blatantly. "And, before you ask, no, I'm not gonna report you," he added, not giving a reason for the statement he just made, but rather, waiting for the reason to come up on its own.
"Oh.. cool, thanks.. I guess. Does.. does that mean you're an ally or..?" I rearrange myself so that I am sitting cross-legged.
"Not… quite an ally, per se," Wes replied, leaning his back against a tree as he spoke. He then took his suit jacket off and placed it over his shoulder.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I tilt my head in interest and confusion.
"Well, basically… I'm poly, too," Wes replied, hushing down his voice a tad. "It's weird to say it blatantly like that, but I suppose this whole situation made it a bit easier, in a way." Wes seemed more relaxed now, having gotten that off of his chest.
"O-oh.. so.. that's cool i guess. Sorry I just never have met anyone, other than my parents, who's poly.." I shift my weight.
"Yeah, sorry if that was a little too… forward,. That's neat though, my parents were the only poly people I knew of too," Wes said, moving some of his hair out of his face. His calm demeanor shifted a bit, but he was still pretty chilled out either way.
"You look a bit stressed, want a cigarette?" I hold up an unlit cigarette to him.
"I'm good, I'll pass," Wes said hesitantly. He was a bit tempted by the offer but he didn't really take it upon himself to accept said offer.
"Suit yourself." I say, placing the cigarette back in it's pack. "So! Why'd you come here? I've never seen you here before."
"I heard about this clearing from some coworkers," Wes replied. "They said it's a good place to just relax, and so I headed here rather than going home, and now I'm here."
"Oh, cool. So, you gonna come sit down or are you gonna leave?"
"Well, I might as well sit down. Any excuse I can get to not do any paperwork, I'd gladly take," Wes said, chuckling nervously. He came out of the clearing's entrance and sat down next to Flower, but also kept his distance since he had a bad habit of not minding certain people's personal space at times.
"Oh, yeah, I get that… I used to work at a place like that, where I had to do a lot of papers I mean." I take another draw, blowing the smoke out of my mouth in rhythmic puffs.
(hai. Is it okay if I join UwU?)
(sure! just post your character and join)
(oki! UwU)
Wes nodded. "Yeah. Paperwork sucks like hell," he said, laying down on his back. "I wish paperwork didn't exist, but then I tell myself that if there wasn't any paperwork being filed as of yet, the world would be absolute anarchy right now." Wes chuckled quietly.

Flower pauses before saying, "Would anarchy be that bad though?"
(sorry for the short response, i have to work this morning and i wanted to get something posted)
(it's all good!)
Wes thought about it for a second. "Now that I think about it… Not really, no. In fact, anarchy sounds way more interesting than anything I'll ever get involved in. God, why'd they have to make world domination so tempting?" he said, ending in a rhetorical question and chuckling again.
(i'll make my entrance.)

Something slithered in the shadows. A dull ringing sound echoed throughout the area, then something shimmered. It looked like…..scales?
Wes heard a ringing sound but paid no mind, but then something shimmered and he got slightly curious. He didn't wanna walk away during a conversation though, so he acted like he didn't see or hear anything.
"Are you okay?" Flower has a worried look on her face as she takes a draw from her cigarette.
A faint chittering sound came from a few feet away from the two. A ruby-red tail appeared from the shadows, the tip long and sharp.
"I- Yeah I'm fi-" Wes began, but was cut off by something coming out from the shadow cast by the trees in the clearing. He quickly looked away and continued. "I'm fine, yeah. Just thought I heard somethin'… probably my imagination though, eh?" He laughed at himself, trying to steer the conversation elsewhere.
