Corbin looked down at Mir, smiling some as the halfling hummed. The king looked to the food, picking up some of it. He was intent on eating it himself, but when he saw how Mir didn't seem to have the energy after the night they had, Corbin offered the food to Mir instead.
Dragomir looked surprised when Corbin offered the food in his hand and looked up at him with questioning eyes, worried that Corbin wasn’t going to eat. Then his belly growled again and he flushed in embarrassment.
Corbin chuckled softly at the growl, smiling encouragingly.
"Here," he said softly. "To satisfy the growling beast." Corbin kissed Mir's cheek lightly. "Don't worry, I'll eat too."
((They’re literally so cute I caaaaaan’t))
(I knowwwwwwwwww they're so sweet I just-)
Dragomir nodded, but instead of using his hands just just ate directly from Corbin’s hand, wolfing down the food, clutching at Corbin’s robe just to remind himself that he was there.
Corbin chuckled some, grabbing a piece of food for himself once Mir had eaten his. He continued like this, alternating between them, with a soft smile. He held Mir close, his second arm never once leaving its position around Mir.
Mir ate hungrily from his king’s hands, feeling like a little pet and he adored it. He smiled up at Corbin between feedings, leaning his head against the human’s chest. He hummed his tune quietly, seeming to be repeating a song over and over.
Corbin was enjoying himself, quite a lot. Mir was his, and the king wanted to take care of him. Feed him, and bathe with him, and love on him, and love with him, he wanted to do it all.
Corbin smiled back, kissing Mir lightly.
"What song is this?" he asked, pulling back some to rest his chin on Mir's head.
Mir shrugged, not knowing. “Just a song that used to play at the bar. Usually when everyone was sad drunk at night.” He took a deep breath and sang in his soft, high voice. “ If I lived in a house with no mirrors, Where the walls didn't talk back at me, Maybe I'd dream a bit bigger, If there was nothin' to see, If I lived in a house with no mirrors, Where the walls didn't pick me apart, Maybe my skin would be thicker, If I lived in a house with no mirrors….” he sang in a way that his magic accidentally slipped out and turned the mood into the feelings that leaked from the lyrics.
Corbin felt his mood slipping into something much more melancholy, his head still resting on Mir's as he sang. The halfling was quite good, but… It was just bringing the king down so much to be listening to this. Not only that, but Corbin couldn't help but cling to every word.
Mir noticed the mood dropping and swiftly changed into a different song.
“ There will come a soldier
Who carries a mighty sword
He will tear your city down, oh lei-oh lai-oh Lord
Oh lei, oh lai, oh lei, oh Lord
He will tear your city down, oh lei-oh lai-oh Lord
There will come a poet
Whose weapon is His word
He will slay you with His tongue, oh lei-oh lai-oh Lord
Oh lei, oh lai, oh lei, oh Lord
He will slay you with His tongue, oh lei-oh lai-oh Lord
There will come a ruler
Whose brow is laid in thorn
Smeared with oil like David's boy, oh lei-oh lai-oh Lord
Oh lei, oh lai, oh lei, oh Lord
Smeared with oil like David's boy,…”
This one was a joyful song and when he finally drifted off, the mood was back to before. Then he apologized. “I’m sorry, I haven’t sung in so long I forgot that my magic likes to leak when I do it…”
Corbin couldn't help but smile at the song change. Mir handled this all so well…
"Ah, it's alright," Corbin said, smiling some. "You have a wonderful voice, I was enjoying all of it. Even if my mood was being affected." The king chuckled, hugging Mir.
Mir smiled. “Still, I’ll try not to do that again.” He hugged back, cuddling into the king happily. He leaned up, silently begging Corbin for a kiss, wanting more affection.
Corbin leaned down to kiss Mir with a smile, pulling him close. He would never turn down a kiss when Mir asked for one.
"Done eating?" Corbin asked when they finally pulled away.
Mir nodded. “I should probably go back to my room to dress but uh…” he blushed and his gaze dropped in embarrassment before he whispered, “I don’t know if I’ll be able to walk…”
Corbin leaned in close to heard what Mir whispered, blushing some himself.
"Well," the king said, looking to Mir with a smile, "If you can wait a bit, I could get dressed and then carry you over." Corbin chuckled some, kissing Mir's head again.
Mir nodded shyly, hiding his face in the folds of Corbin’s robes. He loved how Corbin was just fully taking care of him now. He felt like he didn’t deserve it, but was enjoying it too much to complain.
Corbin couldn't help but smile at Mir's shyness. He hugged the halfling again, standing with Mir in his arms. He sat Mir on the bed, pulling away so he could get dressed. The king blushed, but didn't hesitate as he stripped, pulling his deep red uniform on.
Dragomir subtly watched, feeling appreciative of Corbin large lithe body, flushing as he remembered that body on top of him, ravaging his own body until they were where they are now, with Mir practically unable to move, his legs still half numb and his ass yelled at him if he moved.
Corbin glanced at the halfing sat on his bed, smirking some. He made his way over when he was dressed, adjusting his sleeves as he scooped Mir up.
"Let's go get you dressed," The king said, blushing some himself as he purred the words.
Mir squeaked and buried his face into the red cloth as Corbin picked him up and purred seductively in his ear. He nodded with shy embarrassment, fully ready to put some clothes on right now.
Corbin held the halfing close, glad Mir couldn't see his blush. He started off out of the bedroom to Mir's. The king could hear the hushed whispers of servants as he swept through the hall with Mir held securely in his arms, the half-fae pretty much swaddled in one of his own personal robes.
Dragomir burned with embarrassment when he heard the whispers but reminded himself that this had been exactly what they wanted even if it would be extremely difficult for him to show his face again without redness all over it. He pulled the oversized robe tighter around himself, remembering that he still had absolutely no clothes on besides it…
Corbin had to do his best not to blush, holding his lover in both his arms bridal style. He came to Mir's room, opening the door and slipping inside. He closed it behind them, setting Mir on the bed as he grabbed the halfing's clothes.
Dragomir curled up on the bed in a fetal position. “Well, I guess our goal was achieved… No one will doubt I’m your concubine now…”He rubbed at his flaming red cheeks, looking at Corbin with embarrassment.
Corbin had the clothes folded in one hand, moving over to sit down with Mir. He rested his hand on the man's head, sighing softly.
"I must agree…" Corbin leaned down to gently kiss Mir's head.
"Is it worth it?" he asked gently.
Mir wrapped his arms around Corbin’s waist and asked, “Is what worth what?” He pressed tightly against the king. He closed his eyes in bliss at the kiss, wishing he could beg for more.
"Is going through all of this with the rumors that are most definitely going to spread worth being here, and helping me with the war?" Corbin sighed some, running his fingers through Mir's hair and kissing the half fae's head again.
Mir smiled brightly at that. “Of course. I wouldn’t change it if I could. I love being here and helping you. I love you and I’m so glad you came to find me, even if it was originally to just help end this stupid war…” He leaned up and kissed Corbin again, clearly incredibly happy and content.
