Okay so I need a white button-up shirt with the Straw Hat Pirate's Jolly Roger on it then a vest bedazzled with rhinestones and sequins and some nice pants and tall combat boots with lil heels and that's my outfit

Sushi, for sure
Maybe some shrimp? I'm not a shrimp person but they're fancy
Punch, but non-alcoholic for us minors
I'm already having ideas for formal cosplay
I might be able to be a photographer for some of it

@Elder-God-Whisper work

I’d like winter too. Most of us seem to be leaning towards that. Definitely finger foods, but nothing too messy because those costumes will likely be expensive and disastrous to get mess on. But absolutely cake and/or cupcakes. Alcohol goes without saying. But plenty of non-alcoholic beverage choices for those who abstain or are driving. I could procure a photographer. I have some connections. I like the cosplay idea, but I’m not sure about it. What about music?

Guys I have a nice outfit idea
It's a fancy, subtle cosplay as Sanji
His Water 7 outfit, to be exact
Sanji/Gallery | One Piece Wiki | Fandom
It's just-
chef's kiss
oop, accidental pun lmao
Basically that but the vest is bedazzled, the shirt is cream-colored and the collar is embroidered, and it's got a masquerade mask that's got the curly eyebrow on it, in either feather or pipe cleaner form

I can help make this, if you want help. I’m especially good with embroidery and just sewing in general.

Don't worry, I can sew fine!
Embroidery… maybe

@Elder-God-Whisper work

Oh, maybe I really should do that….

That's what I was thinking!!!

Maybe I can make my costume an allusion to my comic artist persona. Or I’ll do a Keeper Of The Lost Cities costume. That would fit amazingly well.

Dude, I LOVE embroidery, so if you’re hesitant with it, send it right my way!!

Winter is good, but some what limiting. While the Winter aesthetic is absolutely amazing it can limit the amount of options you have when it comes to the wardrobe, wearing that really swishy off the shoulder gown is going to be highly impractical if it's below freezing. Out door dancing and merrymaking would be difficult if the weather is extremely cold.
Though this situation does allow for that cute moment when person A in the OTP is cold because they are not dressed for the weather and person B gives them their suit jacket….
As for music, as long as a solid half of the music is in 3/4 (Aka you can waltz to it) we should be good.

@Elder-God-Whisper work

Well, our venue has already been established to be indoors, so no worries with outdoor stuff, but if we do want to access the outdoors, I’d lean for autumn instead then. ….And now I just read the OTP part, and dying from the imagined cuteness. We need awards now just so I can give out “tonight’s cutest couple” lol.
As for music, I was thinking the first half of the night would be 3/4 ,using while everyone’s still warming up to the party and then the last half of three quarters alternates between waltz and upbeat modern. Also, everyone should start looking up YouTube tutorials on how to waltz. Lmao. (was already trying to learn before this idea even came up….)
