Awesome!
Gwen sighed. She knew she messed up. Being in high school wasn't easy, though. First it was the hair dye not working and turning her hair an ugly dark yellow, then it was her schedule being wrong, and then it was her arch nemesis deciding that the first day of school would be the day he would try to destroy the world.
Life was not fun for a teenage superhero.
I know it's not much, but I kinda coughed it up in 5 minutes.
@Siberse
Mm, personally, I would prefer several more paragraphs
Take your time with posts, no need to rush ^^
Sorry about that. I can certainly provide multiple paragraphs. I didn't know how much/how little you wanted to see, so I went with something more on the simpler side. Thanks for the preference and I'll be sure to keep that in mind!
~Semi-lit to literate RP
This means several paragraphs
^^^^
Is one of the rules I had stated
Tis fine, just take your time
If you haven't seen/read some of the RP, as it has already started, good place to just look at what we are doing and what I would like people to write: https://www.notebook.ai/forum/futuristic/the-s-a-s
(This was based off of a D&D character so please bear with me. If any of this needs to be changed, let me know. And thank you for providing examples of the rp! Sorry if I seem to be a bit slow at times.)
Username: Siberse
Name: Jill Etcans / Zubi
Age: Jill appears to be in her late 20s.
Gender: Female
Years: 2 years
Species: Demon
Powers/Abilities: Jill's intent in life wasn't to hurt anyone, but she knows when to call upon Zubi to become… something other than human. Only in dire situations will Jill willingly use Zubi's powers, but it is entirely Zubi's decision to help out or not.
Demonic Resistance: As a passive ability, Jill and Zubi are resistant against both damage from fire and mind-affecting attacks.
Frightening Presence: Zubi can choose to show her full form to enemies, sacrificing a significant amount of Jill's health to scare enemies away from her. If Jill dies while Zubi is in control… well, we don't want that to happen ;)
Hellscape: Zubi can cause the ground around her to go up in flames as long as it is within 10 feet of her. Zubi can travel more quickly on this terrain.
Brute Force: When any attack would knock Jill to the ground, she instead drops to a kneeling position, which she can return to a standing position within 5 seconds. Only Jill can do this.
Otherworldly Shield: At the cost of some of Zubi's essence escaping into the world, Jill can create a shadowy shield that will protect her from any one attack.
Weapons: Jill has two nunchucks on her upper thigh, two whips at her hips, and a greatsword behind her back. Jill mainly uses the nunchucks, and Zubi uses the rest
Weaknesses: When Jill doesn't meditate, Zubi's presence becomes stronger within her for 24 hours. Also the fact that Zubi is unpredictable at times.
Bio/History: Originally a human in a thieves guild, Jill took pride in teaching people lessons and to do what was right. In return, one of the head captains in the guild sent her a present… something that, in his words to Jill's good friend, would, "Show her for what she truly is." For Zubi was always a part of Jill, just suppressed because it was only a small portion of Zubi, and therefore didn't affect Jill much. However, when Jill received the totem, she had a sudden urge to destroy it. Jill's eyes flickered for a second as her hands broke the totem in two. That was when Jill was no longer fully human.
Jill had to leave her family because she knew that she had just become a threat to them, and for a while, Jill couldn't control what had awakened within her, and Zubi went out of control before S.A.S. found them. Sadly, S.A.S. could not find a way for Zubi to safely be contained. However, with the information S.A.S. had gathered through a multitude of tests, Jill's conscious could be separated from Zubi's, and control was handed back to Jill via a special robotic arm.
From then on, Jill has been working for S.A.S. for a good while, though Zubi despises it.
Other Info: If the whole Jill/Zubi thing doesn't make sense, I unintentionally made their concept be a lot like the Enchantress from the Suicide Squad movie.
Appearance: Standing at 5'7", Jill is an athletic woman with more muscles than reflex. She has short brown hair with dark brown eyes that are analytical. Jill's typical sleek clothing makes up for the lack of bust.
Hey, we finally have a girl!
:) I gotchu
I was so confused for a second bc im a girl but then i realized u meant girl character :') im really smart trust me,,h,,,h,,,
Don't know how she and the others will get along… I hope the whole "Enchantress" vibe is alright as well.

Oh lol, you're good! As a female, I typically find it challenging to play male characters, hence why I have so few in my personal oc bank.
Am I free to join in the rp, or…? Sorry, just a bit nervous to enter myself in!
Character accepted
You may post when you find time Siberse
Never worry about being slow or anything. Post when you are feeling most comfortable
She will be an interesting addition, as Blake absolutely despises fire, as he is weak to it :p
Imagining Eddie and Zephyr's face when they see Blake so much as flinch at fire.

Oh lol, you're good! As a female, I typically find it challenging to play male characters, hence why I have so few in my personal oc bank.
Also that's very understandable! I've always just assumed that my thought process isn't ideal, so I try to expand my writing styles by having as wildly different characters as possible. Very fun but also wildly frustrating to write a character with completely opposite ideals as you:')
I should have a post up today! (Just gotta write it so she finally gets to the crime scene somehow)

Pff, sorry, I phrased that weird. I understand that, and have the same thing lol. Male characters are harder for me than I'd like to admit XD
(Me casually drinking tea, staring at the rp because I honestly love it after reading through the posts, even if they are lengthy and there aren't many of them…sorry xD)
(It's just so good! And I love it! And- goes on a rant)
(I know, right! It's adorable and amazing and I love Jill! I shall protect her at any cost!)
Post looks good Siberse
I kinda have a random number of both male and female characters
Though, I do prefer writing a male charrie over a female

Same! I like Eddie a lot because he's probably the best practice I'll get for a male character. He's very stereotypical with internalized rage, mildly toxic masculinity, bottles all his emotions, and a superiority complex. Though I have many male characters that are much different than Eddie, I still think it's a good idea to get into the mind of men that were raised in this kind of toxic society, ya know?
Is there a clear order of who types? Or do we all four have to post before another can post again? Hopefully this makes sense.
I'm pretty sure there is an order, but it did kind of get slightly mixed up. I'd wait until everyone's posted before I post again, though.
(Also sorry if I contributed to the order mix-up!)
That's okay! I think my inactivity earlier did something too haha…at least it mildly confused me
The order started as:
Myself
Aloe
Pyro
Though as things changed a bit:
Myself
Pyro
Aloe
Siberse
So next it would be my turn
(Sorry guys, haha. I messed up the order!)
You're fine Pyro
Things happen, and I'm pretty laid back with things
As I've said plenty of times, always take your time, no need to rush anything
I mainly have the posting order so everyone remains involved, and no one instantly gets left behind
I've seen many group RPs turn into 1x1's because one pair keeps going without waiting for others, which has a tendency to kill things quickly
I love to read your guy's posts! I have read the thread I think 3 times in a row, and it somehow doesn't get old. I can't wait to see how everyone will get along!
(But don't think Zubi won't try and fail to attack Blake at some point. Definitely not now, of course, but perhaps after combat. Still unsure about that, though.)
I've definitely really enjoyed this RP so far! The amount of rules (and the consistency of Dragoncita to actually enforce and implement them) had me super excited for an actually functioning group RP. I normally do 1o1 RPs because of the disorder and lack of effort in groups, so this one is definitely my favorite (and only) group RP! Although it does challenge me still, that's exactly what I'm looking for in this sort of thing. Plus, it gives me a reason to actually sit down and Write Something, rather than thinking about writing. So thanks Dragoncita! And thank you to Pyro and Siberse for being a part of my favorite group!
