"I- sure, yeah… After school?" Henry gratefully took his book back. Everything was happening so fast, he was in a sort of daze by now.

(Do you want to just skip to there? Also, what is going to happen? Can Henry see through the mist? Is he also a demigod?)
"Sounds great!" He smiled and accepted the sheet from the teacher who had been glaring at him.
(Henry is definitely not a demi god, not can he see through the most XD this is going to be interesting. What if a monster showed up, and Henry had no idea what was happening until he put two and two together and realized it without actually seeing it? And we can time skip if you want to)
(Ok that makes sense. I forget, but is it possible for a.mortal to be given the ability to see through the mist? And sure let's skip)
(aaaa it's been so long since I've read the books, I'm…. Perhaps just for the sake of the rp we say they can?)
Henry had spent most of the day in his daze, and when he wasn't in classes with Leo, it was easy to tell himself that nothing had actually happened. That his favorite character of all time have just shown up randomly one day.
That, of course, changed when school was over, and it was time to take Leo to the hardware store.
(Ok, maybe after they get attacked, he is able to see through the mist)
Leo walked outside of the school, arms halfway between a stretch and a dance move. He spotted Henry and ran over to him, waving manically. "Hey!"
(great!)
Henry looked over when someone called out to him. Oh yeah. He was going to casually bring his favorite book character to a hardware store. How had he forgotten.
"Hey," Henry said, a lot quieter than Leo.
"I get the feeling you don't want to do this." He shrugged and tool out a few nuts and bolts from his tool belt and started making something with them.
"What?" Henry shook his head quickly. "No, not at all! I just… I wasn't really expected anything like this today."
"A fictional character who isn't so fiction anymore, eh?" He grinned and put the bolts and nuts away, clapping his hands. "Shall we?"
"I- yeah." Henry started walking, leading Leo away from the school.
Leo started walking while attacking Henry with questions. He was almost like Rachel when she first met Percy on the Dam.
Henry answered Leo's questions as best he could.
"Hold on, can I ask you a question?" Henry finally said, working up the courage.
"Yeah, sure. What's up?" He asked, looking over at him
"What… What are you doing here?" Henry was still trying to wrap his head around the fact that his favorite character was standing right in front of him, going to a hardware store with him.
"Well, Percy, Annabeth, Hazel, Frank, and Piper are on a quest. Part of it was that Jason and me had to stay away from them and each other in order for them to succeed." He frowned and started tapping his fingers.
Henry had lost all his confidence by now, so he just nodded. Even though he hadn't gotten the answer to the question he had meant to get.
"The store is just down here," he said, pointing.
They had just been about to enter when Leo heard a screech and narrowly dodged the claws of a flying demon. "Well, shit." He groaned and blasted the demon with fire when turned turned and came.at him again.
Henry had no idea what was going on. Well, he had some idea, there's to the books. Henry backed quickly away from Leo, ready to bolt away.
The demon creature.kept coming at Leo but he used his fire and his trusty hammer to knock it down and away. He had a cut in his forehead and arm and half his short was ripped open but he was fine, a little out if breath, but fine. "Whew! That was fun! Let's go inside?" He asked, putting his hammer back in his tool belt
"I-I- uh- sure..?" Henry was a bit shaky, because while he realized what had actually happened, his mind was still telling him there had just been an accident, and that scared him. He stepped into the store, a bit shaky still.
"Wait, you're a mortal, you didn't see what happened." Leo suddenly realized and filled back to look at Henry with wide eyes. "I wonder if there is a way to allow you to see through the mist." He muttered, more to himself than Henry.
Henry shrugged. He wrapped his arms around himself a little. He wasn't sure if he could handle seeing the truth.
(Maybe leo should take him to camp?)
(that seems like a good idea to me!)
"Hey! Chiron could probably help! After all, you are one of the only people to not scream and run away after knowing that the books are based on real life!" Leo said excitedly.
Henry looked at Leo with wide eyes.
"I-I- I'm- are you sure?!"
"Yeah! I can have Chiron send a pegasus to make travel easy for us, less chance of a monster attacking us again."
Henry blinked several times, rubbing his eyes a little.
"Fucking…. Pegasus. O-of course…"
"Great! Let me just Iris message him." He said, bringing out a drachma from his belt and looking around for a pool of water.
