Vincent rolled his eyes out of natural instinct as he crossed his arms. The initial stone-like expression from a while ago began to ware away. Hearing Cheryl laugh wasn't really something he'd expect, it caught his attention in a heartbeat. It sort of left him confused too, he had no clue why his cheeks were feeling warm. "Oh he already knows what I mean. I am a very descriptive person after all.", he winked.
" yes yes of course you are I'm talking to the mafia king after all" she said " you have to be very descriptive in your orders to make sure no one screws anything up" she said
"Well that is very true actually; I do not like being vague at all.", he added,"And if anyone screws anything up, I'm the last one they'll ever see."
Cheryl's eyes widened slightly, but only for a moment " well hopefully I don't screw up a being a wife or a fiance" Cheryl told him
Her response piqued his attention. Probably wasn't the best thing to tell a fiancee. Vincent patted her on the shoulder. "Look, I didn't mean that towards you.", he assured," Don't worry about that, trust me."
" trust the mafia king I don't think your supposed to trust the devil" she said, back with her teasing, she flashed him a smile
"And what if the two are synonymous with each other?", he questioned,"You can't trust one without the other, makes no sense."
"True True" she said smiling at him " but aren't angels supposed to be pure and beautiful and heaven-like and then one of my nicknames is the red fox" she said
"Angels are a lot of things; they have a good chance of being more too regardless of what it is.", he added,"Huh that's interesting, I haven't heard of that one yet."
Vincent looked out the window as the car approached downtown of the city. Cheryl's smile had a brighter impression than some of the signs that they passed by. He pressed his hand against his own cheek for a moment before the car stopped and parked. "Oh we're here, what do you want from Sal's?", he asked,"I'll just get it and we can eat at the next place, if that's alright."
"um suprise me" she said, truth be told her father never let her eat outside the Manor, in fact she rarely got to leave the Manor unless he accompanied her, she hope with Vincent that would change for the better.
"Alright, don't worry. Sal's under me so, his stuff is always great.", he nodded. Vincent got out of the car then dashed inside of the restaurant. The place wasn't busy since it was starting to get to be in the late evening. He paid and got a bag with the food in return. The owner gave him an envelope which he slid into his jacket then went back to the car. "So I just got you a burger with tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese but left out the sauce since I wasn't sure then some fries. If you want more, have some of mine."
She nodded " okay, sounds great" she said looking out the window once the cat started to move she had her hands rested on her thighs as she layed her head back on the seat eventually closing her eyes
