Her gaze darted around the male's form looking for anything that could be used against her. Not seeing anything aside from the pole he dropped, the Phicilae stopped moving away. Khadijah narrowed her eyes at the human before her. She didn't like how he was keeping his voice down. It meant that there might be others. But his words were clear to her. Nothing about this was really "okay," but it could be worse. Khadijah mentally sighed. There was the choice to let this human closer or to leave obvious signs for hunters who would be far less kind. Her body finally fell back to the ground. She felt so tired.
Eli watched her for a moment. He wasn’t actually quite sure what to do, he’d never been in this situation before. It seemed as though the Phicilae did understand what he said, so he decided to have another go and ask another question.
“Can you..can you shift?” He asked, walking a tiny bit closer. Her being in a human form could probably make this easier, but if not then he’d have to see what he could do from this point.
At the current moment, she could not. This had never really happened before. Then again, she'd never been this injured before. Or this close to a human when not appearing as one herself. She acknowledged the male's question by giving a small huff.
