Did you look at the PHB?
You roll your stats like this: roll 4d6, reroll 1s, and add the three highest together. Repeat that 6 times and you can fill in your stats how you want. I believe your AC should be 10 + Dex modifier, and any armor you may have (which I don't believe you should have)

okay so
stats should be like,,, for the trainer right?
so it isn't too much different from regular d&d, okay-

uh… legit the last time i did a campaign i think my friends did the actual calculation of modifiers aha-
so i don't remember how to do those-
OH WAIT i remember now it was based off a chart so like,,, would the modifers still depend on what number the stats are?

Modifiers: (Ability score minus 10) divided by 2 (rounded down)

Your ability score is your strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, wisdom, and charisma. Each is important in different ways, in certain situations. Want to seduce a demon? Charisma check, rolla d20 and add your charisma modifier. Want to do a backflip to distract the guard while the party sneaks by? Make an acrobatics (dexterity) check, using your acrobatics modifier. Is a dragon attempting to frighten you? Make a wisdom saving throw with your wisdom saving throw modifier (if you aren't proficient in wisdom saving throws [ST], you use your wisdom modifier instead.

You roll your stats [Ability Scores] like this: roll 4d6, reroll 1s, and add the three highest together. Repeat that 6 times and you can fill in your stats how you want.

I hope this helps!

Of course! (I can only hope you're a fast learner. If not, that's completely fine! This is my first campaign after a year of being a player, and I get being new to stuff all too well. Did you need any help at all making your character, or do you have a good idea of who they'll be?)
