The man with the eye patch, brushed it gently with the tips of his fingers. "My name is Tolkalee, the guy with the red eyes over here is Chris," the man he gestured to waved. "The other one is Roshiel," Roshiel waved as well. "You already met my little sister Tonakee, and this is Taca," the two girls waved. "Who are you?"
Endor: "I am Endor, bodyguard to the queen and-"
Laurel: "I'm Laurel. The savior of the world." -she looks at Endor- "You're not the bodyguard to the queen anymore, Endor. You have to stop introducing yourself like that."
Tolkalee smiled and turned away, and sat back down. "You make that sound like it's the best thing in the world," he sighed.
The creature remained off to the side for the time being. He continued to lean back upon his tail which remained as his makeshift seat. The soft smile had returned to his muzzle, red eyes a gentle glow. He waited for the pair of females to finish their introductions before he spoke next.
"Pleasure to meet you all. I am Tyraenor."
Tonakee hopped to her feet and walked over to Tyraenor. "I don't think I've ever met anyone like you before. Where are you from?"
Enetli strolled around the area. It was rather nice to be able to just forget your current problems, and just walk around..thinking about..well, whatever your problems are not. The masked individual looked up to the hill and decided to see what was occurring. Despite their species reputation, Enetli hoped to turn a new leaf for their kind. Although, that most likely would never happen, they decided not to think too much of it, and instead quietly approached the group.
Tolkalee looked up instantly as the figure approached the hilltop. He turned his head around so he could see the person through his good eye. "Hello there!" he said to them.
Enetli stopped and raised one hand in a friendly wave. Their hand, while human like in shape, seemed to be almost wooden, or at least have the texture of birch bark. “Greetings,” they responded.
"How are you this fine day?" Tolkalee stood up and walked over to the figure.
“I’m doing well. I decided to come here as I heard you all speaking up here.” They replied. They paused, then added; “My name is Enetli.”
Tolkalee held out his hand in greeting. "Tolkalee," he said.
The smile remained on the bipedal creature's muzzle. He was quite used to towering over everyone, even when in his smaller form. Tyraenor's tail moved, removing itself from under him, allowing him to crouch. His tail now moved to curl around him.
"Mm, I don't often come across people or creatures willing to converse with me."
The gentle smile remained on his muzzle, "Then again, I have spent most of my life in the Avalan Taiga."
Hmm, we don't learn about that place back at home must be one of the many we still don't know about," Tonakee smiled. She wasn't actually looking at him, she was looking past him but there was nothing there.
Enetli shook his hand. “It is nice to meet a new person. I don’t get to see people that often, and after some time, you get used to it. So it’s good for a change in environment for once.”
He chuckled softly, "Most likely you haven't heard about it. Not a very important little territory, bordering the Northern edges of our world, towards the frozen tundra and such. Tis the Home of most of the Northern Dragon Clans."
His tail remained curled in front of him, the white fur shifting ever so slightly as the breeze rustled his white fluff. Tyraenor's soft, red eyes took note of the female's gaze. The creature's nostrils flared, taking in the scents, but he could sense nothing behind him, or perhaps his senses were dull. Just to be sure, he seemingly glanced back out of the corner of his eye. No, there was nothing there. Hm, perhaps there was another reason, or he was missing something.
Either way, he wouldn't let it bother him too much. The giant creature remained crouched low to be a bit closer to the smaller individuals around him.
Tolkalee smiled. "I never had that luxury unfortunately. I was kind of forced to be around hundreds if not thousands of people for most of the first part of my life. War isn't a fun thing."
Tonakee's eyes didn't move. They were a light pale green color. More pale than normal for a human's eyes. "Where I come from is kind of like a cross roads for all other planets so we often see aliens wandering around. Well, others see them anyway."
“War is not a fun thing. I can agree to that. I’ve been around to witness two massive wars, plus thousands of others I probably have no clue of.” They pause, looking around as if thinking.
“I also only recently got into the silent, isolated life. Well, recently, in terms of how long I’ve been around. Most of my life was attempting to survive, the other parts of it were forced participation in political nonsense. But I’m glad that’s over and done with. I just desire a peaceful life.” They finish.
"This is the man I aspire to be like," Tolkalee grinned pointing a finger at him and turning to look at the others.
Laurel: "Um… Endor. The Light are taking Alina now. I think we should-"
Endor: "You're absolutely right!" -she claps her hands together and Laurel disappears- You should go, and I should stay here to talk to these fascinating people."
Tyraenor's head seemingly perked forward, picking up on the girl's words. 'Others see them', that was enough for him to pick up on the fact. Well, the pale gaze of her also gave it away. Though he had only really heard stories, never really seen it before; This female was blind.
"Hm…forgive me if I seem a bit rude, but you are blind?"
His body remained completely relaxed, a soft rumble coming from him. The creature's fluffy tail twitched a bit, red eyes remaining a soft glow.
"Well, I suppose I could be an 'alien', though I am a behemoth. This is just my smaller, humanoid form. I'd rather avoid accidentally crushing everything and everyone here."
“That makes the two of us then, in humanoid forms.” Enetli noted. They seemed relaxed, in terms of posture. Their ‘hands’ came clasped together. They waited, just listening and speaking when necessary.
Endor: "You guys are so interesting! This is much better than being in that cursed castle for hundreds of years!"
-she wrinkles her nose- "And being chased around by Peran's beasts."
Tolkalee smiled. "Technically speaking, all of us are aliens, because none of us are from this planet," he explained.
Tonakee rolled her eyes turning toward her brother. "There he goes with the technicalities again," she then turned back to the giant creature. "To answer your question yes I am blind, but don't think for a moment that I'm helpless. I could kick all a y'alls butts."
Endor: "Oh, could you?" -she pauses- "I mean, I don't doubt you could kick most people's butts. But I don't think you could kick mine."
He chuckled softly, "Oh, I never doubted you. Sometimes one turn their disability into an advantage over an enemy."
Tyraenor's tail twitched a bit, glancing up to the other who mentioned 'Humanoid Form'. He gave a nod to the other, remaining completely relaxed.
"Once again, I don't have to worry too much about competition or threats. So it is quite odd for me to think about such things."
Tonakee grinned at Endor. "Would you like to find out?"
Tolkalee looked at Tonakee and tipped his head slightly. They seemed to share a silent conversation, and then Tolkalee grinned. "Be nice Ton, I'm on break, I don't want to have to heal a bunch of injuries that you get and that she gets."
Roshiel stood up and stretched. "I dunno, it could be quite interesting to see them beat each other up a bit."
Endor: "Oh, well. A fight? Is that what's going on?" -she looks at Tolkalee- "Don't worry, you don't have to heal any of my injuries. I can do that myself."
Enetli tilted their head. "I'm not much of a fighter. I used to be, back in the day. Maybe a couple million years back. Maybe during the Galactic wars as well. But even then, I didn't really want to. Although," they let their hands drop to their sides, "I also highly doubt you could best me in a fight. Maybe impress, but not beat."
The beast's gaze shifted to Enetli. He could honestly somewhat compare to the other. The tip of his tail twitched a bit, fluffy mane seeming to poof up even more around his shoulders and neck.
"Mm, I can say the same about not being much of a fighter. I never really was, but then I think most behemoths like myself don't really fight, as we don't really have anything or anyone that challenges us due to our gigantic sizes. Even in this smaller form, I still have my great strength, so I still need to be very delicate and careful."
Taca looked around at everyone. "Wow, you're all a bit cocky aren't you."
"Never ever underestimate an opponent," Chris spoke up plainly. "That is what gets people killed. Even if you can beat them, underestimating them can get you in a lot of trouble. One of the first lessons I teach my soldiers back at home. I have no doubt that all of you could do incredibly well in a fight. That does not mean you should underestimate any opponent. Especially Tonakee. Of all but one of us five, she is the most dangerous."
