Lux: I did. [A look of deep sorrow comes into his features.] Her name was Ambyr, and she birthed quadruplets; Adir, Solomon, Asher, and Sheba…. Sadly, they were all murdered by Tritain many, many years ago….

Kyoko: Why did I have to ask… I didn't mean to…I'm sorry.

Lux: It's alright, young one; you couldn't have known.

Jason: Irregardless, I'm still sorry for your loss.

Lux: You mentioned that you have a goddess.

Kyoko: Yes, Your Highness

Lux: Though I am flattered by the formalities, you may call me Lux. [Pauses momentarily to take a drink of his mead.] Please tell me about her.

Kyoko: As you wish. My goddess Auriya has existed along side the human god as a sort of "backup" in case his creation ever failed…Unfortunately it did and she took over what was once Heaven while he went off to make his new creation elsewhere. She took a piece of herself and put it into the humans she deemed worthy…then created these…horrible monsters… creatures called the Cloakers. They…um..

Lux: That's interesting!

Kyoko: [laughs awkwardly] Yeah, it is

[A guard comes running over to Lux and company.]

Guard: [Panting, trying to catch his breath. He looks exasperated as he struggles to speak.]
"M-my Liege, n-ne-news from the dungeons!"

Lux: "Calm yourself; slow, steady breaths."

Guard: [Successfully catches his breath.] I have news from the dungeons, Sir!"

Lux: [Looks on, waiting for the guard to continue.]

Guard: [Seems hesitant.] "The…. Uh, witch escaped, sir!"

Lux: [Face goes from happy and carefree to serious and brooding.] "How did she get free?"

Guard: "She managed to poison the guards that you had stationed at her cell, My Lord."

Lux: "Take your men, sweep the castle grounds; she mustn't get away!"

Kyoko: Um… is…is that bad?

Lumen: It very well could be.

Lux: The witch, Duvainethgwendes, who also goes by Braigdes, once worked for my parents, but betrayed them. It was her, under orders from Tritain, that had placed my curse upon me. Duvainethgwendes was even the one that had given Tritain the idea!

Kyoko: Holy…yeah, your situation definitely sounds more complicated than mine.

Jason: And I thought that I had trouble when I was being framed for burning my schools gym down…. Anything we could do to help?

Lux: Since you're capable of flight, air support would be appreciated.

Jason: Got it! [Flames cover his body as he takes to the air.]

Kyoko: As in…flying? Oh god…they're going to make fun of me when they realize I don't know how to fly

Lux: With me, Lady Kyoko. [Starts walking away with a brisk stride.]

Kyoko: Oh, um, you don't have to Your High… I mean Lux. I can fly on my own. What the hell am I saying?

Lux: [Stops and looks at her.] You can fly on your own, like that young man up there? [Points upward at Jason.]

(Jason hasn't said his actual name yet…. He's only introduced himself as 'The Flame/Flame'. Also, he's from a different story then the one that Lux is from.)

(Oh really? I thought they were from the same universe XD)
Kyoko: Yes? Why am I like this

Lux: Hmmm…. [Eyebrow raised, his interst for Kyoko increasing.] The only fliers that we have here in this world are fae, dragons, and even elementals, though that depends on their element.

Jason: [Flying high over head.]

Lux: Flame, like you, isn't from here.

Kyoko: May I see your wings?

Lux: [Chuckles.] I'm sorry, but I don't have any wings.

Kyoko: Oh Right

(I've literally had something to do every single weekend [not that that's a bad thing during summer lol]. Going kayaking tomorrow, got a family camping trip from the 9th to 11th, and then a family reunion on the 17th; same day as my nephews' birthday party.
