Tempest gave an evil smile. "So, any ideas?"
Tempest gave an evil smile. "So, any ideas?"
They looked around, searching for the most entertaining victim. They were better at communicating with their master, but they sent vague images through to Tempest's mind. Exploiting some fear.
Tempest tilted her head. "Hmm. What if… ooh! Leon is somewhere over here. Want to do something with water?"
They seemed excited to prank Leon again. They looked to her for any extravagant ideas–or one so simple it was genius, such as their chips and Lance.
Tempest thought for a moment, then smirked. "What if… we shove him into the ocean?"
The snakes looked at each other. Too simple. They sent some more vague pictures to Tempest.
A large bubble inside the ocean. A lion on the ocean floor. Large serpents circling at high speed.
Tempest snickered. "I love it. But he needs a way to breathe."
They sent the picture of the bubble again.
Tempest nodded in understanding. "Oh. So… do you guys know where he is?"
They stuck their tongues out and tasted the air, then slipped off of Tempest and slithered through the grass towards where they scented Leon. Ebony paused to look back at her, waiting for her to follow.
Tempest followed, thinking about what to do. How should she lure him to the ocean?
Twin images were flung her way as the snakes slithered through the grass. MEAT.
Tempest laughed. "You two are smart." She hurried into the house, grabbing a chunk of raw meat before running back to the snakes.
Ivory led Tempest to the perfect spot next to the ocean to plant the trap while Ebony went to Leon to get him to fall for it. The white snake curled around the spot that she felt was ideal. Her pink eyes stared at Tempest, a small twinkle in them.
(Time skip?)
(Sure. To when Leon's in the bubble?)
(Sure. And should his brothers be trying to get him out?)
(Honestly? I think they'd find it hilarious. They'd know he could breathe and wasn't actually getting wet. Unless you want them to be trying to get him out)
(No, I don't think they should.)
(Do you want me to start?)
(Sure)
(Sorry, I was buying ice cream.)
Aquarius felt a disturbance in the water and went over to check it out. He laughed. Leon was under water and scrambling around, an air bubble around his head.
"I'M GOING TO KILL THOSE DAMN SNAKES!!!" Leon roared as he flailed about. Said snakes were up on the surface, hissing their snake-like laughs.
Tempest snickered, catching Lance's eye.
Lance locked eyes with Tempest and smiled–smiled. It was a full-blown, all-teeth-are-shown smile that he very rarely–if ever–shows. But when he saw Tempest, the likely reason for his annoying brother's misery… he couldn't help himself.
Tempest blushed but grinned back. He was looking at her as though she meant the same thing to him as he meant to her. "Sorry, I had to," she said.
"He deserves it. You've done the world a favor."
Tempest smiled shyly. "Well, good. I've always wanted to help people."
Lance looked around at his brothers, then made his way over to Tempest. "Isn't that what you're doing now?" He gestured to the demigod camp. "Helping the world?"
Tempest looked down at the ground and shrugged. "I-I guess. If you really call it that. They're the ones that chose to fight."
