(No no, that's not the point. Romance and love are very different honey)
(Romantic love doesn't always = college cafe moment)
(Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm explicame. Cause I have a hard time telling the difference in this western society. We going to the greeks sure. They've got 9 types of love. Western culture, nope romance = love)
The demon growled but before they could make their another move, Bal lodged a fireball at her and she was knocked against a wall, rendered unconscious.
Lillian let out a slight sigh of relief before slightly lowering her weapon. Her heart was now pounding with adrenaline, "Oh thank god."
(Human beings are inherently social animals. None of us want to be alone and we all require love. Not romance but certainly partnership. The long-term effects of loneliness and isolation include actual insanity. There's no way you're not hoping for someone to be with and I don't have to mean romantically. I was friends with my current girlfriend for a very long time by choice and it was enough for me to just have someone there)
(…Can I say I hate being a social creature and would love to just be a hermit for the rest of my life? But you also have a point. And I still say have not had that moment. And my philosophy still stands because social interaction is hella scary.)
Bal crawled to his feet and grabbed Lillian's hand wordlessly. He didn't know how long the demon would be knocked out for. He walked over to the corner of the room where he found a door. he turned the knob and it creaked open.
Lillian held tightly onto Bal's hand as she walked with him, her other hand holding a death grip on her new blade. She stuck close to the other ready for whatever.
(Social anxiety isn't natural and is becoming more frequent. I've found it's typically developed due to nuture rather than nature.)
(Or self inflicted choice ahahahahahahaha…)
Shaxx was lying on the cold floor of the room made of a material that appeared to be concrete. Bal let Lillian go and rushed to his side. He was injured, bleeding, but not dead.
(You have no trouble talking to me for the most part)
Lillian hesitated for a moment seeing the blood and Shaxx just lying looking dead on the floor. She then carefully approached the brothers keeping an eye out for anyone coming their way.
(That's cause I'm typing. I have time to think and make sure my words look and sound the way I want them too. In an irl situation I don't get that luxury and I end up rewind half the conversations I went pointing out all the stupid mistakes I said or made throughout the day.)
Balthazar used a dagger to cut his pants and put pressure over Shaxx wound. "You'll be okay, brother,"
"If it's your hands my life is in, I doubt that greatly,"
(Oh boy. I doubt people think that poorly of you when you speak. you're definitely your harshest critic)
"Would you rather it be in mine?" Lillian offered over to Shaxx. She didn't know much about demon anatomy, but she could probably do okay.
(Oh I know that. But that's what anxiety is. The little nagging voice in your head constantly reminding you of all your fuck-ups and what you could have done better or said differently.)
"I would, yes. Thank you for the offer,"
Bal sighed, "I am not nearly as incompetent as you think,"
(I'm gonna "go to bed" not to sleep but I have to get up tomorrow)
(I gotta try at least lol)
(What's the thing you're most passionate about?)
(Yes, yes you do that.)
(Me? Probably computers and shit. I love the whole behind the scenes how each program works and trying to mentally map it out. It's why I'm a Com Sci major.)
(Are you a crazy hacker who like… is watching me through my camera and triangulating my location?)
Lillian put the sword away and moved over to Shaxx. She definitely felt more comfortable playing medic than guard, "Yes, and you heard the injured man. He wants me to patch him up."
(I wouldn't mind, you would see a tired boy watching Bones on a 50 in)
(Do I know how to theoretically do that? Yes. Do I know the code to do that? Hell no. Your safe for now Bones boy.)
