Lillian pretended like that comment didn't hurt coming from what was essentially Darren's other half. She assumed it was in good fun, ar least she hoped so. At the very least she followed after Bal trying not to trip or fall.

(Like, I'm not that tired either. And my roommate isn't here??? So I'ma be here for a while lol.)
Balthazar had a general distaste for all humans, he thought they were just as physically weak as they were weak-minded. Lillian was hardly an exception to that yet she may be the only human he didn't hate. He feels what Darren feel whether he wants to or not. "Hold on tight, teleporting seems easier,"
(Cool cool cool)
"Okay," Lillian moved closer to Bal. She was honestly glad that they weren't walking in the dark building for any longer.
(Yeah, real cool.)
In a split second, their surroundings changed from a midnight street to a well lit concrete room. It had a musty smell to it and it was cold. There were no windows or doors and the walls were lines with metal cabinets. There was one in the corner. "home sweet home," Bal took his black robe off and threw it on the bed.
Lillian glanced around the room. It felt more like a prison then a home, but who was she to judge where a demon wanted to live, "Nice place you got here."
"I do not live here," Bal smiled as he opened one of the metal cabinets and set a dagger from his boot on a rack. The cabinet was filled with different kinds of weapons. "Darren does,"
Lillian hesitated hearing that word. She took a deep breath and looked around again, "When? I've never been here before."
(going to the bathroom with the lights off is always an interesting challenge but it's fine… we made it)
"It's a safehouse, it's underground and because the only way in or out is to know the exact location and then to teleport, he stayed here for a long time to protect himself from the brotherhood," Bal flopped down on the bed, "He said we could trust you. No one else can know about this,"
(…I have questions. But I will keep them to myself.)
(I mean, ask away. It was pretty open to questions lol. There are people sleeping and I didn't wanna turn any lights on)
"I won't tell a soul," Lillian felt her lips twitch into a slight smile again. She started to hug herself as she leaned against the wall of the room, bunker thing. Her hands faintly ran over the neat scars on her arms and she immediately moved them to stop herself from doing anything stupid.
(Ahhh, the people are sleeping. Do you not have a phone to provide light?)
"You should rest until morning," He suggested. "I know I'm not him, but we share a mind,"
(Damn I really wish I would've thought of that… The bathroom has a shared door with a bedroom where people are sleeping so I also didn't want to make noise which is… it's own thing…)
Lillian frowned a little as her nails started to dig into her upper arm, "I'm fine. I, I can stay up a while longer."
(Lol, I am the professional at sneaking around in a dark without lights… Don't take that out of context.)
(Also like a private bathroom? Wish I had that.)
"Then at least come sit," he could feel something was off with her. "I'm sorry this is happened,"
(same)
(You don't understand. I live off of a semi-public bathroom that I share with every girl on the floor down the hall. It. Is. Hell.)
Lillian hesitated for a moment before going over to the bed, "It's fine. It's not your fault."
"I would give him back to you right now if I could, but he would be in pain and we don't need that," he sighed and laid down. "I hope I don't make you uncomfortable,"
(Girls are notorious for taking mucho tiempo en la bano so I can imagine that's not desirable. That and privacy is un poco importante.)
"No, no we really don't," Lillian agreed with a nod. She let her fingers curl in and then relax again, "And, and no you don't make me uncomfortable. I just… I just need to adjust to this."
(Si. I've been lucky so far with having no one in there while I do my thing.)
"I understand this must be difficult," He turned onto his side to look at her, "He wants you to know that he loves you and that this will be okay,"
